Petco

I come to this location to bounce ideas off of the very knowledgeable Logan who works in the fish department. My husband and I always leave with something. Logan, your always helpful and much appreciated. Keep up the good work. Thank You Logan.

Incredible service, disgraceful ownership. I was at this location the other day and needed to buy something for my three dogs. I had my infant daughter with me who really needed a change so I went to their restrooms but they were out of service. Asked someone who worked there if I could use the employee restroom real quick and they told me that CORPORATE SAYS A BATHROOM IS A LUXURY and haven’t repaired the bathrooms in TWO YEARS. What kind of late stage capitalist hellscape are we living in? No chance I ever shop here again.

Had a wonderful experience today and needed to share. The store manager -Kaitlyn- went above and beyond! Thank you!!!!! Over the summer we Reached out to customer service via phone and did not have a good experience at all!!! Thankfully, while my son was in the store, I was able to discuss the issue with Kaitlyn and she resolved it quickly. Kaitlyn was a true gem! Without her - we would not be using Petco grooming. And another shout out to Veronica - who always takes such good care of our little guy while he is getting groomed. John is another helpful and wonderful employee! Again, we are thankful for Kaitlynn’s great managerial, customer and people skills! Thank you all! Good customer service is hard to find these days!

It's Petco - if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Sometimes Petco in Middletown has great deals and sometimes they don't - but that's usually the case with any pet supply store. What makes the Middletown Petco stand out from the rest are the people who work there. They truly love animals. Whenever I go there, everyone is always so friendly and helpful! I don't always bring my dog Seamus to Petco with me, but when I do, the employees always go out of their way to greet him with smiles, kind words, and head scratches. (And sometimes cookies!) I have no idea how my little rock star stays so humble with everyone telling him how handsome he is! My dog had an appointment to see a specialist at the animal hospital today. Unfortunately, I was hit with the kind of news that no doting dog parent ever wants to hear. After leaving the animal hospital, Seamus and I stopped off at Petco to pick up some canine health supplements. When I was ready to check out, an employee named John was waiting for us at the register. Since the store wasn't busy, he made sure Seamus got some treats and affection, then we got to talking about our love for animals. I don't know what came over me, but I just started bawling. I didn't mean to, but the prospect of losing my best friend hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm just so grateful to John for taking the time to talk to me - a complete stranger - with such understanding, kindness, and compassion. I truly hope I didn't make him feel uncomfortable when I hugged him. In that moment, I just appreciated him so much that I couldn't help myself. I have no idea if upper management ever reads these reviews, but if they do, I just want them to know that they have some truly wonderful, special employees at their Middletown location. Please make sure you take good care of them! And John, you're a gem. Thank you for being a gentle-hearted, empathetic soul. Your kindness meant the world to me. I truly hope life has great things in store for you!

Matt and John have to be the 2 best Petco employees I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Matt helped me find what I needed within 2 minutes while John checked me out with the biggest smile and best vibes I've had the pleasure of experiencing from a retail employee. Highly reccomend!
