Taking puppy training classes here. We are working with an amazingly patient and caring trainer. Vincent is gentle and all the pups love him. He is highly knowledgeable in products that will help with training.

Tonight we visited the Downey store #01501. I want to express how very disappointed we were with the filth in the store. Upon arrival, we went to the fish area where we encountered dog feces that had been there for hours. Someone had also stepped on the feces and smeared it all over the floor and the stench was unbearable. I went to notify the girl at the register and she failed to take any action to have someone clean up the feces. I also noticed by the reptile area that there was even more dog feces and urine and someone just placed napkins over it. I have visited this store numerous times and have never encountered the store soo filthy! There were numerous employees around and not one took initiative to clean up the feces and urine. My daughters had to cover their nose to finish shopping and not vomit from the stench. I am not sure why Petco would allow dog feces and urine to sit for hours and no action is taken for shoppers to have a pleasant & clean atmosphere when shopping. Totally un-excusable! Shame on Petco employees and managers.

For this Downey Petco,I have been here in my car waiting for my pick up since of 5:01pm Friday,December 20,2024. I have placed as curbside pick up and there isn’t any one (customer wise) for the associates to attend to and I have been sitting inside my car writing to see if somehow all of this can change my mind and nope.This store has not.This is seriously unacceptable.I set it for curbside to just drop off my things onto my vehicle and to move on to other necessities I need to finish to end my day.But no,it’s 5:47pm and I am still waiting and so have other customers that came,got tired of waiting and had to step out of their cars and get their things.It is 5:54pm and I ended up going in myself.THIS IS Ridiculous!!!! On the image there’s 4 workers there huddled up and the yellow image are the orders and one of them were mine

Best petco I've ever been too. Staff is so helpful and friendly especially when it comes to aquatics. All the animals there are very well taken care of. Highly recommend this place !

My wife and I enjoying shopping at Petco to buy dog food,collars,and their grooming service for our dog Goldie. We the service and the staff is very friendly.
