I used your 25% off coupon to buy some cat food and cat litter… And the young gentleman that helped me carry out the heavy cat litter. I wish I would have remembered his name but I don’t. He had long light brown hair and he was very kind! I thank him for his excellent customer service!

The Betta fish are all dying and floating in cups full of waste. I was told they were “just cleaned.” I’m sure. I was in in the morning and one of the fish was dead. Came back in the evening and they simply removed her and put another betta there and didn’t clean anything. Filth. Fish are all sick. One of the cups even had 2 dead mosquitoes inside. Edit: went back and it was the same. One fish was dead. At least 6/7 were seriously ill and diseased. You can see the white patch on the black fish which is a sign of disease. One at the bottom was dead. Several just floating on the top on their sides.

The cashier was rude. I asked her a question and her response was rude and she said that she’s just a cashier. Not the way customers should be treated. She was also too busy on her phone to actually help. When I left she didn’t even look at me just kept texting.

Grooming Department. 3/1/2025 Today 12:00pm We have appointment for our 2 dogs one German Shepherd and small poodle. The Girl with black hair, I think she was Spanish. Too bad I didn’t get her name because everyone needs to know how bad attitude she has she is in front in the cashier who receives the dog in grooming. Really bad attitude, she told my husband to past the dog in side to weigh the German Shepherd. My husband tell her why they weight the dog because they never did in the past not even in petco in topanga and ventura . And her response was … I am doing my job is not my fault they don’t do their job… after that she said you want to do it or not! My husband still tell her . We brought our dogs here and also she did the grooming to my small poodle and she never weighs or dogs? And she responded really nasty… and not professional ….if you want you can take your dog to another place? Wowww ! that it’s very wrong is not supposed to keep your customers in your store? And not sending your customers to another place? I am interfering and I asked her if it’s something new you guys implied in this store? And she responded again with attitude not ….We have to do it because it’s our job. Ok I tell her I understand it’s your job but We never experience that. That’s why we tell her, never the weight the dogs in fallbrook not even in Topanga. I brought my dog there for a long time including my dog that she already past, never ever they weight them. She snap and answer …,you know what! I am not going to take your dogs you can go another store if you want. After she have this attitude I don’t want to leave my dogs there anymore I don’t want this situation scale . I asked her to please call the manager. The manager come and I told him that the lady have a really bad attitude to my husband and to me because we only asked her about the weight the dog and because she didn’t like it . She cancel our appointment. We asking her since when they started to do that. She got upset and told us to take our dogs to another place. The manager comes leasing and after, he said you can take your dog to another petco if you want!?!?#% I am thinking? Where it’s the apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. We tried to make things work because I am your client. I am a flight attendant and they teach us to treat and solving problems for our customers. Because the customer always right . Even do the customer it’s upset, disappointed, angry , asking a lot of questions. We are there for them to make things better. I am feeling really disappointed of this lady and the manager because they need to learn how to treat their customers. Things could been handled differently. I am not here to telling you to not come to this store because probably some of you have different experiences. Like I did in the past . Special with this guy who works also in grooming he has long hair I think his name is Ariel if I not make mistaken. That guy is the best worker guy in that store great attitude answer all the questions really well he has great knowledge and he love the animals you can tell how he received the dog. We love and care. You make your own judgment.

I brought my dog in for grooming. Parus was the stylist. She received us with a nasty attitude and did not seem to be listening to my directions when I dropped the dog off. When I picked up the dog, Parus had shaved the dog all over, claiming the fur was matted. She also nicked one of the dog's skin tags with the clippers, causing bleeding. Not only that, she did not trim the nails. When I got home, the dog was squinting and had red eyes. We went to the vet and the diagnosis was corneal ulcers, caused by physical trauma or chemical trauma. My dog was damaged by Parus and the grooming team at this Petco location.
