This is a beautiful new store, but many of the shelves are bare and there is usually only one worker present. What’s the point of opening a nice new location if you aren’t going stock it? I’ve had better luck at the North Shepherd location, which is half the square footage.

They are racist hence the other interviews. 2 of the 2 times I’ve been here I’ve been treated poorly by the employees while white customers receive star customer service. The first time the clerk couldn’t be bothered to greet me even after I said hello to her. Today, Nancy felt the need to glare at me while I was checking out when she thought I wasn’t looking. My dog’s food is $125 after taxes. No one is spending that at any store to be treated like trash for no apparent reason. I get it’s Texas but come on.

So normally I wouldn't rant too much about a Petco but the guy who works in the fish department is extremely helpful and knows a ton about saltwater fish and gave us great pointers for the stuff we needed I hope y'all keep him because he's very friendly and very knowledgeable the store is also very clean and all staff are welcoming and friendly you can tell they love their animals that they have in stock ! :)

Horrific to see the care of their live animals and reptiles. Saw a mid sized bearded dragon with an intense respiratory infection and huge belly from parasites, poop all over the cages (of ALL reptiles). Apparently their answer is "If it eats and drinks, it's fine". They offer a "cosmetic discount" (seriously twisted). This place is an ANIMAL ABUSE FACTORY. DO NOT BUY ANY ANIMAL FROM THIS PLACE. You will be in for thousands of dollars of vet expenses (I know from experience), and will be supporting a place that abuses animals for profit. They quite literally throw the animals away in the dumpster when they aren't purchased. Stop supporting this and maybe they will get their act together and start treating these animals like the living beings they are.
