Petco

As one would expect, it smells heavily of dogs. For someone who is highly allergic, I had to wear a N95 mask. There are many items for different pet needs. I purchased turtles which are sold in-store only, plus accessories. Only one item had to be purchased online since they don't carry it in the store. The assoicate was very gentle while handling my soon-to-be pet, friendly and knowledgable of what the items were that I described in order to create my turtle haven. I was told that they do match prices and where to find the one item that they did not carry. They did not try to get me to purchase items that I do not need, provided a little education and saved me a buck. Thanks Mission accomplished! I will return for future needs.

This is the only place I've found rabbit snails. And the guy that works in the fish area is so informative helpful and has awesome customer service! This is my stop to get fish anything! I think this one has more variety in fishes than the other petco next to the gym... I even got my 10 gal. Tank and even had it reduced much more for being a display tank. This is my favorite petco!

It is a well stocked store. A lot of products, and they have pretty much all of the common brands. Their staff is helpful, the store is clean, and there is a lot of parking.

I took my two dogs to Petco for the first time I came back with a terrible half cut. When I asked them why, they told me “next time just bring them in the morning” and that they are so busy and have two big dogs that are Barking all day… I told him I wasn’t happy, but they were just looking at me. I eventually requested a refund.

This is the second time I write a review and this time I am very disappointed, I brought my dog in for grooming, I usually bring her in every 3 to 4 weeks, they always tell me it takes 3 to 4 hours to get her ready, well this time it was 4 hours and I did not get the call to come pick her up, so I worry, I went in there and the groomer was not in, my dog was not ready, four hours later, they had only given her a bath, nothing else. When I walked in there, they looked at me weird, and when I asked if my dog was ready they guy at the front desk told me she was not ready, he then texted the groomer, like 5 minutes later she walks in all happy telling them she was at a job interview and she got the job, meanwhile, my dog is there, waiting for someone to take care of her, she then rushed in and brought her out, I told her that I was going to take my dog just how she was, she then proceeded to tell me that the length I had requested was like the way she looked, she said she was going to do her nails real quick, I had requested to take the hair in between her paws so she said she was going to do it before I take her, she was rushing and only hurting my dog when she was trying to groom her paws and clean her ears. she did not do a good job at all, I was very upset and told her to just leave it, I ended up paying $62.00 just for the bath and leaving her a $5.00 tip in cash which I should have not done it.. this was it for me, I was giving them a chance but not any more. I will be taking my dog somewhere else, there is plenty of other places.
