We’ve been taking our dog, Pippin, to get groomed here for the last 3 years. Jinah has always done a fantastic job with our golden and goes above and beyond. We only book if Jinah has availability! Pippin adores her and gets excited for her spa days even though she’s a reluctant car dog. All the people working in the grooming department that we’ve spoken too have been kind, welcoming, and friendly but Jinah is hands down our favorite!

One of the key services frequently offered at Petco locations is professional pet grooming. The available customer reviews provide a direct, albeit contrasting, view of the grooming services at the Triadelphia store. One customer offers a highly positive testimonial regarding the skills and service of a groomer named Jinah. This long-term patron, who has been bringing their golden retriever, Pippin, to Jinah for grooming over the past three years, consistently praises her exceptional abilities and the high level of care she provides. The fact that this customer specifically schedules appointments based on Jinah's availability underscores her reputation for excellence and the trust she has earned from pet owners in the community. The review also highlights Pippin's positive reaction to Jinah, noting his excitement for his "spa days" despite his general dislike for car travel, indicating a comfortable and trusting relationship between the pet and the groomer. Furthermore, the customer mentions that other staff members within the grooming department they have interacted with have been consistently "kind, welcoming, and friendly," suggesting a positive and supportive overall atmosphere within this service area of the store.

However, to ensure an objective and balanced perspective, it is crucial to also consider the negative feedback provided by another customer. This reviewer recounts a deeply concerning experience involving the discovery of live worms within a bag of dog food that was purchased at the Triadelphia Petco. This is a serious incident that immediately raises significant concerns regarding the store's standards of hygiene, the quality of their product storage and handling procedures, and their overall commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of the products they sell. For any pet owner, the health and well-being of their beloved animals are of utmost importance, making the discovery of contaminated food entirely unacceptable. The reviewer's disappointment was further compounded by what they perceived as an indifferent and unprofessional response from the staff member to whom they reported the issue. The lack of an apology or any immediate assurance that the problem would be thoroughly investigated and rectified left the customer questioning the store's overall sanitation practices and the level of customer service provided in such critical situations. This negative experience ultimately led the reviewer to strongly advise other pet owners against patronizing this particular Petco location and to seek alternative sources for their pet supplies where they could have greater confidence in the quality and safety of the products.

Considering these contrasting experiences, local users should be aware that while the Petco in Triadelphia may indeed offer high-quality grooming services, particularly if they are able to secure an appointment with Jinah, there are also significant concerns regarding the quality of their products and the responsiveness of their staff in addressing serious issues, as highlighted by the negative review. The reported incident involving contaminated food is particularly troubling and should prompt potential shoppers to exercise a high degree of caution and to thoroughly inspect all products for any signs of damage or contamination before making a purchase. The perceived lack of concern from the staff member who was informed of the issue also raises questions about the consistency of customer service standards throughout the store and the training provided to staff on how to handle customer complaints, especially those involving product quality and potential health risks to pets.

Beyond retail and grooming services, Petco stores often provide a range of additional services aimed at supporting the pet-owning community. These can include on-site vaccination clinics, often conducted in partnership with licensed veterinarians, providing a convenient and accessible way for pet owners to ensure their animals are up-to-date on essential vaccinations and preventative care. Many Petco locations also actively collaborate with local animal shelters and rescue organizations to host adoption events, providing an invaluable service to the community by facilitating the placement of homeless animals into loving and permanent homes. Furthermore, Petco frequently offers pet training classes, catering to a variety of needs ranging from basic obedience training for puppies and adult dogs to addressing specific behavioral challenges and strengthening the bond between pets and their owners. It would be beneficial for local users to directly contact the Petco in Triadelphia to inquire about the availability of these additional services at their specific location, as the offerings can sometimes vary between different store branches based on local needs and partnerships.

Regarding promotional information, the provided text does not contain any specific details about current sales, discounts, or special offers that might be available at the Petco in Triadelphia. However, as a large national retailer, Petco typically engages in various promotional activities to attract and retain customers. These can include discounts on specific brands of pet food, special offers on grooming packages or other services, seasonal sales events tied to holidays or specific times of the year, and loyalty programs that reward repeat customers with exclusive discounts, points accumulation, or other benefits based on their purchasing history. To stay informed about any ongoing promotions or special offers at the Petco in Triadelphia, local users are advised to regularly check the official Petco website (often there is a dedicated section to find local store advertisements or weekly flyers), sign up for Petco's email newsletter to receive updates directly in their inbox, or inquire with the store staff during a visit or by phone at (304) 547-0807 or +1 304-547-0807. Following Petco's social media channels, if the Triadelphia location has a specific page, can also be a way to stay updated on local events and promotions.

In conclusion, the Petco located at 525 Cabela Dr in Triadelphia, WV, serves as a local "Pet Store Near Me" offering a wide variety of pet supplies and a potentially positive grooming service experience, as highlighted by one long-term customer. However, the serious negative review detailing the discovery of contaminated pet food and the subsequent unsatisfactory staff response raises significant concerns regarding product quality control and customer service standards that prospective customers should carefully consider. While Petco may offer convenience and a broad selection of pet-related products and services, local users are advised to exercise diligence in thoroughly inspecting all purchases before leaving the store and to be prepared to address any quality or service issues that may arise. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on available services, specific product offerings, and current promotions, direct communication with the store is recommended.

I recently visited the Petco located at 525 Cabela Dr, Triadelphia, WV, and had a deeply disappointing experience. While browsing the dog food aisle, I was horrified to discover worms inside one of the dog food products. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the store’s cleanliness and quality control. As a pet owner, the health and safety of my pets are my top priorities. Finding worms in a dog food bag not only shows a lack of proper storage and handling but also poses a significant risk to pets' health. This experience left me questioning the overall sanitation practices at this Petco location. I immediately brought the issue to the attention of the staff, expecting a prompt and professional response. Unfortunately, their reaction was far from satisfactory. The staff member I spoke with seemed indifferent and did not appear to take the issue seriously. There was no apology or assurance that the matter would be addressed immediately. The lack of urgency and concern from the staff was incredibly disappointing. This kind of oversight and poor customer service is unacceptable, especially in a store dedicated to pet supplies. It is crucial for pet stores to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and product quality to ensure the well-being of our pets. I urge the management of this Petco location to thoroughly investigate and rectify these issues. Proper training for staff on handling such complaints and ensuring that all products are stored in sanitary conditions should be a priority. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this Petco location to other pet owners. I hope my feedback will prompt necessary changes to prevent such issues in the future. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere where I can trust the quality and safety of the products for my pets.

I have tried calling this store for 2 days numerous times and only get busy signals. I purchased a bag of dog food and when I opened it up it is full of mold and maggots. My major concern is other bags may also have issues and worried someone may feed this to their pets.

I needed a substrate better than the coconut husk fiber I was already using for my toads terrarium. As soon as I entered the store and asked for someone who knew about toads, I was greeted with a plethora of information and answers I didn't realize I needed. I got the substrate to solve my issues and even crickets and mealworms for not just my toads but my spider too!!

Only went in because I had a gift card, at the register, Amanda asks if my dog can have a treat, I say no, he's working, and explain Service Dog's shouldn't be given food from strangers or be distracted from their job. This turns into a debate on SD rules which Amanda doesn't know. I have trained Dog's for over 40 years, SDs for 25. She's telling me "registered" SD rules. First of all I know the ADA SD rules inside and out, there is No "registration" there are however an abundance of Fake registrations that you can get your pet dog with a vest so you can take your Fake SD everywhere. This is the problem, and I was trying to educate Amanda, but she wanted to argue that Dog's should be allowed in All stores, like Kroger where she also works allows. I tried to explain that emotional support Dog's don't have the same privilege as SDs, and pet Dog's should not be allowed in these places. She says all dogs are allowed here (PetCo) well it IS a Pet Store. My SDs go through hundreds of hours of training, have multiple AKC Titles that prove they know how to behave in public. And I'm tired of people's untrained Dog's trying to attack my well-trained dog. Not to mention, SD are required to be up to date on vaccines, flea and tick prevention and bathed on a regular basis. Then she calls me "Honey" which I said, don't call me honey I'm much older than you and it's disrespectful. I only try to educate people on the correct information but some people just think everyone should get a trophy and that isn't the way it is for Service Dog's, they are either Well Trained Real ones or Fake ones that misbehave and make it harder for me when I get interrogated trying to take my Real SD into a store. So, Petco, please educate your employees.
