This big, handsome boy at 35 g and 10 inches long. Is Flame Brando, and we got him from Pet World? Heavy 100 that summer, and it was told to us that he was 2 years old, which seemed appropriate. You may see my reviews. I bought Pet World on the 27th. I have got cause. I've literally said I've saved from there. Rescued, you could say, but that does not apply to highway one hundred locationHe was healthy and stable when we purchased him. He has actually become the only one we bought by choice. Not by rescue. Although I must say they charge still double what the market currently is. I'm not sure.Why-they take surrenders for free.

Pet World Warehouse Outlet Introduce
For pet owners and animal enthusiasts in West Allis, Wisconsin, Pet World Warehouse Outlet, situated at 2984 S 108th St, West Allis, WI 53227, presents itself as a local "Pet Store Near Me" offering a diverse array of pet-related products and potentially animals for purchase or adoption. You can contact them at (414) 327-3737 or their mobile number +1 414-327-3737 to inquire about their current offerings and services.
The available customer reviews provide a mixed perspective on Pet World Warehouse Outlet. One review details a positive experience with the purchase of a reptile, while another recounts a tragic incident involving the purchase of bird food. These contrasting experiences highlight the importance of considering various viewpoints when evaluating a pet store.
One customer shares their experience with acquiring a bearded dragon named Flame Brando, noting its impressive size and health at the time of purchase. They mention being informed of the reptile's age and that it was purchased during a particularly hot summer. The reviewer indicates that they have "literally said I've saved from there," suggesting potential value or perhaps the adoption of rescued animals, although they clarify that this particular purchase was by choice and not a rescue from the Highway 100 location (it's important to note the address provided is on S 108th St, so this may refer to a different branch or a general comment). The customer explicitly states that the reptile "was healthy and stable when we purchased him," which is a crucial aspect when acquiring a new pet. However, the same review also points out a significant concern regarding pricing, stating that "they charge still double what the market currently is." The reviewer expresses uncertainty about the reason for this price discrepancy, especially considering that "they take surrenders for free," which might suggest a focus on animal welfare and rehoming, potentially impacting pricing strategies.
In stark contrast, another review details a deeply concerning experience involving the purchase of bird food. The customer reports that their English budgies died after switching their diet from bagged food to Pet World’s "open bin food." The reviewer expresses regret for not being more cautious, especially given a "buy 1 lb get 1 lb free" offer, which in hindsight seemed suspicious. Tragically, an avian veterinarian confirmed via autopsy that the birds had suffered from "food poisoning and red stool." This review raises serious questions about the quality control and storage of the open bin food at Pet World Warehouse Outlet and serves as a significant warning for potential customers, particularly those purchasing food for small animals like birds.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, local users can gather the following insights about Pet World Warehouse Outlet:
- Availability of Animals: The store appears to sell various types of animals, including reptiles (as mentioned in the positive review of the bearded dragon) and birds (as indicated in the negative review concerning budgies). It's possible they also offer fish, small mammals, or other common pets, although this is not explicitly stated in the provided reviews.
- Potential for Pet Adoption/Rescues: The comment about taking surrenders for free and the implication of "saving" animals suggests that Pet World Warehouse Outlet might also be involved in rehoming or adopting out certain animals. However, the specifics of their adoption process are not detailed.
- Concerns Regarding Pricing: One reviewer explicitly states that the prices are significantly higher than the market rate, which could be a deterrent for budget-conscious shoppers. The reasons for this higher pricing are not explained.
- Serious Concerns About Open Bin Food Quality: The tragic incident involving the bird food raises significant red flags about the safety and quality of their open bin food options. This is a critical point of caution for potential customers, especially those purchasing food in bulk or from open containers.
- Large Store Format (Implied): The description of the store as "big" in the positive review suggests a warehouse-style outlet with a potentially large selection of products and animals.
- Varied Customer Experiences: The stark contrast between the two reviews indicates that customer experiences can vary significantly, potentially depending on the specific products or animals purchased.
The provided information does not offer any details about the environment of the store beyond it being "big." We lack information about the cleanliness, organization, the health and living conditions of the animals (except for the two specific cases mentioned), or the overall shopping experience beyond the interactions described in the reviews.
Similarly, there is no comprehensive list of services offered. While the sale of animals and pet food is evident, we do not know if they offer grooming services, veterinary clinics on-site, training classes, or other common pet store services. The mention of taking surrenders suggests some level of animal welfare involvement, but the extent is unclear.
Promotional information is also absent from the provided text. The "buy 1 lb get 1 lb free" offer on the open bin bird food was mentioned in a negative context and does not represent a general positive promotion. Potential customers would need to inquire directly about any current sales, discounts, or loyalty programs.
Given the limited and conflicting information, local users considering Pet World Warehouse Outlet should approach with caution. While they may offer a wide selection of pets and supplies, the serious concern raised about the quality of their open bin bird food warrants careful consideration, especially for bird owners. The reported higher pricing on at least one item is also a factor to keep in mind. It would be prudent for potential customers to visit the store in person to assess the environment and the health of the animals, inquire specifically about the sourcing and storage of their food (especially open bin options), and compare prices with other local pet stores before making any purchases.
In conclusion, Pet World Warehouse Outlet in West Allis, WI, appears to be a large pet store offering a variety of animals and supplies. While one customer reported a positive experience with a reptile purchase and hinted at potential rescue involvement, another detailed a tragic incident linked to their open bin bird food, raising significant quality concerns. Additionally, higher pricing was noted by one reviewer. Local users should weigh these contrasting experiences and conduct their own thorough assessment before making purchasing decisions at this store. Direct inquiry about their animal care practices, food sourcing, and pricing policies is strongly recommended.

Upon entering the store we were greeted by several associates willing to help, as a matter of fact I was impressed with how many employees were there. Anyway we were assisted and all of our questions were answered. The pricing was very good and I would reccomend shopping there.
Jan 08, 2019 · Matthew WinterWas greeted when I walked it. All the animal cages were very well taken care of. I was there for saltwater fish/inverts, selection was very limited but prices were fair on what was in stock. They have some coral, sps, lps, zoas. Will check back to see if inventory increases.
