We got our pet hamster from here. Staff was super helpful for first buyer and hamster owner. The little gal told me everything I needed to know and what I should get for our new baby. She recommended a 20 gallon tank to start, but we felt our Hamster would be happier in a bigger tank. So I only wish she would of recommended a bigger tank. We ended up getting her 40 gal tank in our first week of having her.But other than that we are so in love with a new fur baby. She has been super sweet and let's us hold her. She is enjoying her bigger tank and is adjusting well to her new life. Thank you pet world, we absolutely are in love are in love with her.

Great place for feeders. If you have reptiles they supply live insects and, if you ask, will tell you how to keep them as long as possible. Great selection of high quality items that will help keep your pets alive and healthy. They do not focus on what looks good or sells cheap. They care about the animals and may ask you questions to make sure you do too, before they let you buy one. They care about all living things. I love this place.

2 stars for the store being clean and decently organized, but the staff don’t seem to care much about helping customers. Nobody will try to help you in this pet store. I stopped in to see their Herman’s tortoises as I intend to buy a pair soon, I asked a female employee that I found a few basic questions about them to which she replied that she wasn’t sure all the details, but that the reptile manager would know everything. She made no effort to notify this “reptile manager” that I wanted to speak with him or anything else so I wandered around for probably 15 mon waiting before I asked another female employee if I could look at them and she took me over to look at them, but she knew very little about them. She assured me that “reptile manager” knew the answers to all my questions. I assumed logically that me being over there talking loudly about the tortoises would trigger this elusive manager to come help answer some basic questions about these animals, however logic did not seem to prevail here. These animals cost 400$ a piece and live for around 100 years so it is a serious commitment to buy such an animal. They did not even know if they were Western or Eastern Herman’s. So I wondered around the store for another 45 minutes and nobody made any effort to inform this “manager” that I wanted to ask about the tortoises. I then finally went to ask one of the previous female employees I spoke with if they knew where they came from and how I could be certain they were not wild caught. She went into the back to ask this mysterious manager my question and a few minutes later returned with my answer. She said that they got them from “somewhere local,” I am not kidding this was the their answer to this basic question. Wild caught turtles are not only bad to own because it encourages the illegal pet trade, but these turtles very seldom do well in captivity because they struggle to adapt to a new climate. I am not saying that their tortoises are wild caught, but what I am saying is that they refuse to provide any evidence to the contrary. Overall setting this manager aside and pretending that never happened I would still not rate my experience positively because the only employees I was able to interact with seemed in a hurry to get back to whatever it was their doing which made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by talking to them about their animals. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I would recommend anyone that asks me to do so too.

I loved it you could Feed fish and turtles. It was amazing and you could pick up the hamsters and pet the bunnies and see the birds. I give the place a 5/5 the way it said people spend about 20 minutes in here we spent 2 hours
