Pet Village

I love this store! They are closed on Sundays, I've made that mistake! Oh boy, do they have pets, and I'm told they do dog grooming. I don't have a dog, but I have a hyper focus on fish and fish tanks. They have a whole room dedicated to fish. Another for rodents and smaller reptiles, featuring a large parrot that might say hello to you while you're visiting. There's also a store cat. He's not super outgoing, but it's cute when I find him asleep on the shelves! They've got a good amount of supplies, not like a giant chain store, but you can probably find what you need. From dogs, cats, reptiles and rodents all the way to fish. They've got a bit of everything, really kind staff, and lots of fish, both salt and freshwater. Oh but no public bathroom!

Hands down best fish store in the area. Great selection of a variety of fish. Fair prices. This is very much an "old school" styled pet store really with a good selection of birds and rodents but I am always here for the fish. They have a decent stock of Saltwater fish and crustaceans but not as well stocked as freshwater fish. They have a good selection of peaceful schooling and community fish for the casual keep and a great selection of C/A, S/A and African Cichlids and puffers and other rare and exotic fish. They usually have a good selection of rocks to choose from but have no coral or live plants.

Looking for a great place to get your dog groomed? THIS IS THE ONE! It all starts with the bather.. Making sure they’re all sent looking and smelling amazing like a cup of coffee in a cozy blanket next to the fireplace. Once they’re sent to the groomers, it’s where the magic happens. Under supervision of a dog lover with 8 cameras, I don’t question or even think of anything out of the ordinary happening. It truly is a village, the atmosphere and hospitality is just beyond amazing.

Pet Village is local in Duncanville that has a little bit of everything for dogs, rabbits, birds, gerbils/hamsters and fish. They especially specialize in all things fish. If you have questions, they have answers. On a whim we bought a small tank from them and have been through everything with them. They supported us through our Ick crisis and even paired fish to coexist with the beta. Those were crazy times. They also groom. I bring my toy poodle here for a perfect cut. I love that they don't shear him. It's all scissor work. ✂️ My boy gets so many compliments too. They are reasonably priced too. Also they are fast. Drop your dog off early and they'll fix em up early. Can't go wrong here. Support a local small business and with Pet Village you will get excellence!
