Pet City

Couple that runs the place (especially the woman) are rude as hell. Very short with people. Everything is over priced as well. I simply asked if they carried something and she said no before I could even finish and shook her head with attitude. Then I asked if she knows where I could find it and she did it again same way. She was being rude to the customers ahead of me too. Got the same thing last time I stopped in. Guess I won’t be making that mistake again!

animal cruelty central- do not buy anything here especially the Axolotls! They are kept in tiny bowls without filters and wrong temp water. It’s filthy and inhumane. Their gills are almost nonexistent now and multiple have diseases. The ones that don’t will surely die soon due to horrid water conditions and stress

Drove specifically to this pet store but wasted 30+ minutes circling the mall – Google Maps led me to a non-existent or poorly marked location. Mall staff confirmed the directions are outdated.

Just Killin time in the mall, walked in to look at the animals when I spotted this adorable high energy little bearded dragon. The staff was super knowledgeable about him and knew what I absolutely needed in order to take him home. I figured I could find an aquarium really cheap on line. So I asked if I could pay for him and comeback in a day or two. Found an aquarium, and picked up our little Rango the next day. Glad we stopped in !!!

We bought a beautiful Boston Terrier from here. He is a red Merle. First of all he was extremely expensive even on sale because he was 12 weeks old. After a few days home it became apparent that he was deaf. We brought him to our vet who agreed he “appears” deaf but cannot say for certain that he is because she is not an audiologist. We brought our puppy to the pet store so the manager could see him and we could discuss a partial refund to cover training and an invisible fence for his safety. She said that seemed reasonable and saw for herself that he cannot hear. He appears that sometimes he responds if you clap very loudly which our vet said is a response to vibration not the sound itself. The paperwork from the vet was sent to the manager to which she told us appearing deaf was not enough. She saw for herself that he could not hear. The vet has seen it and we now have an absolutely wonderful deaf dog that they refuse to acknowledge or provide any sort of refund for. The manager was very nice when we met her in person and saw that Winston was deaf. However the business response was less than lackluster: they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and their business practices. I found where Winston was bred whom was an Amish breeder. He actually had a puppy from the same litter for sale for less than half of what we paid as well. All in all this has been a terrible experience and I won’t be visiting this pet store again.
