I come here twice a week just to see all the cool pets and amimal. I love the reptile collection. Being from Ohio we never had pet stores with this many options. So its pretty cool to see the variety of pets to choose from. All different kinds. I normally come to get crickets and mice. Which are always available. The puppies are also very cude and cuddly. I got to hold a puppy 1 time. The workers are more then happy to help customers with their needs. They also offer a nice payment plan for puppies. Im glad this place exist for animal lovers ❤️❤️❤️

The label listed the hamster as a male. Unbeknownst to us, he is actually a she which explains the aggressiveness and territorial behavior we’ve been experiencing.

I’m here in response to the dumb owner who thinks they are funny by being sarcastic. Yes, the hamster has a great enclosure and “she” loves climbing into cups and it’s great for moving “her” when “she” doesn’t feel like being touched. I’m glad that I was able to rescue “her” from the trauma that “she” had to experience before from y’all. Next time learn to take responsibility for your fault and act like an actual business that will treat their customers with respect. She was clearly listed as male so next time you could have the decency to list the animal properly if you want to call yourself a pet shop

I came to buy canned dog food. The Small & Medium Breed Puppy Recipe Dog Food 5 oz was priced at $1.99. I was charged $2.99. The cashier also tried explaining to the manager on duty that the canned food was priced incorrectly. The manager on duty would not honor the fact that the dog food was priced incorrectly and would not refund me. The 13 oz cans were priced at $2.99. I bought 5 ounce cans that were priced at $1.99, but I was charged $2.99. Update: I initially had a bad experience with the manager on duty regarding pricing. However, the owner John immediately called me when he saw this review and apologized! I really appreciate the fact that he took out the time to call me and make the issue right! Besides that one incident, my experience with Pet City Houston has been great and my Morkie is doing well! The owner really cares about his customers which is something you don’t find often! Thank you John!

I have pet snakes and I've had them since they were babies. I've always liked to feed my snakes live mice I believe that's much healthier and I've been able to give them pinkies and as they get bigger they have live mice in different stages of growth
