I placed an order to replace some toys my cats have thoroughly loved and also destroyed over the years. I waited two weeks for a tracking update and got nothing. When I emailed asking to cancel (in an admittedly firm way, because I honestly thought I was getting scammed since I hadn’t gotten any sort of update), I finally DID get a reply, saying the things I ordered are “on back order because of COVID,” and they were sending me a surprise package. They did send me lots of toys (and comped the cost), but I ordered something specific for a specific reason: because my cats loved them and needed replacements. Unfortunately, my cats did not even touch the toys I was sent, which isn’t this company’s fault at all, and since they WERE free, I didn’t technically lose money on them, and will try to donate them to a local vet or pet hospital. The main thing is, I would’ve appreciated an update before I had to send my own email. Also, if something is on back order, maybe state that on the site or take that product off the site until it restocks, so people aren’t just left wondering what is happening with their order/money. I’m not sure if I will actually ever get the products I ordered.
