Clarksville Reef & Reptiles

I have bought 2 high quality reptiles and several aquatic pets from here. All have been healthy and thriving. I buy feeders here regularly too. I’ve always been pleased with the service I get too.

This place is absolutely disgusting. First walking in the fish of smells smacks you in the face. As you walk around you see some cool fish and some lizards. If you walk into the back left corner, as of April 15 ,2025, there is a dead sand boa. And by dead, I mean stiff, stuck in the air, mouth agape. It is truly one of the saddest things I have ever seen in a pet store. Truly pathetic on part of the owners and employees who claim to care for these animals.

I love this petstore! Not only does it have a large selection of saltwater and freshwater fish, they also have a large selection of reptiles! I love to just look at the tanks! The owner is very knowledgeable about all of the animals and really helped me out with my tank! Definitely worth the drive!

I got a bearded dragon from here, and he was very quick to cut the price. Which is good because of the expense of vet visits we had, for an underweight and malnourished dragon. He sold us a dangerous substrate (crushed walnut), and didn’t have answers for temperature, humidity or food. Every question we asked was either not answered or answered the opposite of the entire internet. He either knowingly took advantage of us (dangerous for the lizard) or he doesn’t know a whole lot about the actual care of reptiles. I’m glad I found a good vet and another pet store who were professional and intelligent.

I can’t begin to list the amount of times I have gone to this store, looking for some things that I needed to take care of a pet of mine and ended up getting not only that, but something that helped prolong the life of other pets that I had purchased from the store in the past thanks to the workers and owner of the place. If you need any form of information about a reptile, fish, an arachnid, or an isopod that you have purchased, this is the place to go to for someone who has the information you’re looking for. The customer service is always notch, not to mention that the store is consistently clean and has its shelves full of things that can help you care for your pets properly.
