I've worked with several aquarium service companies but Aquatic Life Designs is head and shoulders above the rest. Steve Keuper took our vision and implemented it. Now we have an amazing 400 gallon freshwater tank filled with discus, angels, tetras, rainbow fish, and several bottom dwellers. Steve has always been responsive to our texts and phone calls. He worked hand in hand with our architect and our general contractor.

Steve Keuper and his employees at Aquatic Life Designs have always been top notch. They come any time, day or night to care for my tank if anything urgent comes up. I had to quickly frag up a number of corals and he had a tank I could use to store the frags until my tank stabilized. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding all types of equipment used in a reef setup and can make appropriate recommendations. His installations are meticulously carried out with extreme attention paid toward ease of use, durability of the setup and longevity of life. He has extensive experience in all types of setups from smaller home setups to large home setups to industrial and commercial setups. All of that experience probably makes care for my 240g setup relatively easy but he treats it with the same care and attention I give it. He also thoroughly understands the Neptune Apex system and can make adjustments to my system if it’s something I don’t yet know how to do. I’ve been working with Steve’s company for 4 years now and am very appreciative of his presence in the home aquarium market.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Steve! He is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, and deeply invested in providing his customers with exactly what they want. He has extensive experience and is a wonderful advocate for all of the creatures he helps build habitats for; his tank installations are unrivaled and absolutely stunning. Too pretentious to even make an appointment. Sucks when you’re trying to support a small local business and they’re just rude. No wonder why they work out of an abandoned warehouse. Response: it was not a misunderstanding. It was your dismissiveness. The fact that you do custom work only works better for me but it was clear that as soon as you heard an accent on my voice you were not interested. You said that you were not retail and you only worked by appointment, when I asked to make an appointment you sent me to some discount shop. I hope your current clients see the type of character that you have and find a better supplier.
