I purchased my cavachon, Sir Toby, from branford in August. He is the sweetest, most loving dog ( thinks he is human). He loves to hug, enjoys being around people. He is a great companion. All Pets staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I am so happy I went to All Pets for my new family member! I highly recommend them

So, my mother fell in love with a dog and cried when we left without it. A few weeks later I drove her to a Dr. appointment which was in the area. I thought to myself if we stop there and Sophia the little Shih-Poo is still there I'm gonna have to get it for her. Much to my surprise the little pup was still there. And, substantially cheaper than the previous time we visited. So I really felt like it was meant to be. And then we met Emma. One of the employees there. She was AMAZING. She couldn't be more friendly, helpful, and courteous. And when I found out she was only 19 I was shocked. When I was her age I was nowhere near that mature. So if you go to All Pets Club in Branford, I highly recommend asking for her. Although there was one other associate that we interacted with, albeit much less time, but she was great too. Unfortunately I forgot her name. It is so rare to experience this level of service/pleasant demeanor that I felt it was imperative to give them, and even more so Emma a very positive review. The picture is Sophia's car ride home. We changed it to Luxe and she acclimated to her new name in a few days. She's a really smart dog and almost seems like she was pree trained. So they're doing a lot of things right over there. I hope this verbose review helps potential customers. And I hope it helps Emma. In my honest opinion she deserves a raise ASAP!!

Please don’t give this chain your business. Reviewing a handful of the many negative comments here will give you a sense of why. All Pets Club sells puppies sourced from irresponsible breeders carelessly producing lots of puppies with profit prioritized over animal welfare (aka puppy mills). They respond to a lot of these accusations insisting that this can’t possibly be the case when the puppies are vet-checked every two weeks and their facilities are USDA and state licensed. While these claims may be true, it is also true that many unethical animal operations are fully legal and still neglectful towards animals. The All Pets Club website boasts a long list of available pups of various breeds and ages, with many more listed in the “Future Arrivals” section. During the week of March 30th alone, the website says that 61 puppies are being delivered to the branches. At the same time, All Pets Club claims that it works with only a handful of breeders. Both these things can’t be true unless they are buying from operations with dozens of breeding dogs who produce hundreds of puppies a year. Even ignoring this, ethical breeders take pride in producing strong, healthy dogs and finding suitable homes for their pups. All Pets claims their breeders want to keep in touch with you, but try to find a review where a person got in touch with the breeder and saw the facility their dog came from. What ethical dog breeder would wholesale puppies to a chain pet store where they have no say in the home those dogs end up in? In the Branford location that I visited, puppies are kept in a clear box at the entrance of the store, exposing them to constant stimulation and stress from customers for the 12 hours that the branch is open daily. While they may look happy to see you, if you’ve ever had a puppy, you understand the importance of frequent rest times to allow developing pups the ability to fully relax. You will also see many signs telling you not to take pictures at this branch, suggesting the owners would like to minimize the online exposure of their facilities. They might say the picture ban is for the comfort of the puppies, but I would argue that housing the pups in a quiet room where they can choose whether to interact with people or not is a better way to ensure their comfort. I understand though, that doing so would decrease the foot traffic in front of the puppies and thereby reduce sales. I was surprised to see a Connecticut pet shop blatantly supporting puppy mills in 2025. Adopt or shop responsibly; All Pets Club is anything but responsible. I didn’t buy anything here after seeing the poor conditions of the animals in this store. In addition to the puppy situation, many fish were dead and small glass vases were being advertised as betta fish enclosures, which can be stressful and potentially deadly to the fish. I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you a replacement though.

Go almost everyday to see willow and Tess. BEST DOGS EVER. And always this amazing worker Darcie is there. DEFINITION OF A PERFECT EMPLOYEE. You can tell she loves the puppies and loves her job. Has great customer manners and is just overall amazing. Always a great help with the puppies and so respectful. Love this place!

I would absolutely not bring my business to this establishment. We put down a deposit for a puppy. Called us and told us the puppy would be saved for us as long as we were here before 5:30 p.m. We drove 5-1/2 hours and got here for 1p.m to find out they sold the puppy on us and have no idea how it happened. Worst customer experience I've ever had and the only person that genuinely cared was Dave. Everyone else does not care about you as a customer and does not care about your time. 3 people lost a days pay and 11 hours of driving because of this staff/store. Do your shopping elsewhere and avoid this place at all cost
