York Veterinary Services

I was given a dog to raise from a service dog organization. They chose this vet for the prenatal care of my dog. We went for an ultrasound last weekend. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. I got to experience for the first time seeing an ultrasound on animal. The tech was great, explained and pointed out everything. They made the visit very easy.

10/10 service! I called them around 10:30 in the morning with an emergency with my 2 dogs. They either got into a fight or something got ahold of them while they were in the backyard and they were covered in blood. I checked them personally but wanted to get professionally checked just to be safe. York Vet was quick to get us in even though we had never been there before and it was an emergency appointment. The babies were seen and treated and I felt like we were only there maybe an hour. They also were very reasonably priced!! Our one dog had to be sedated and the other was fine without it but I thought I was going to spend over $500… walked out and spent less than $400 total including medications. The staff was very friendly and did a great job handling our one dog that’s very vocal and intimidating. I couldn’t be more happy with the service. We will be coming back in the future!

Wonderful caring vets. They have cared for two of my animals and the entire staff were so loving to my babies. They take their time and love on every animal that comes through the door. They also have very fair pricing for their services. I would recommend to anyone!

Very poor experience. The staff were very cold and very unprofessional. When I expressed concerns about affording expensive treatment, I was told they would do the treatment and give my pet to another family. :( after paying for the procedure, my pet never recovered. I called with concerns and was asked to bring my pet back so they could check her. When my family member dropped her off, she overheard the technicians gossiping about how I was told earlier if I couldn’t afford the treatment, they would take the pet from me. When the doctor called me about possible issues, she said she hoped that she had done a good job closing my pet during surgery and her work wasn’t the issue. After more examinations, it was determined the surgery was coming undone, and the likelihood was my pet would not survive, or her quality of life would be heavily impacted. I had to put her down. A very traumatic experience from the first visit. I regret choosing this facility. I would suggest finding another vet for your pets’ needs.

Just took my fur baby for the first time today. Recently moved from PA and contacted York Veterinary office to take my "Noel" as a new patient. The staff was tremendous! The nice lady who checked us in (unfortunately I didn't get her name), to the vet nurse Katie and Dr. Bell. They all were so kind to my pupper and me! I would recommend this Veterinary facility to anyone looking for a caring and loving Veterinary office!
