In memory of ChaCha. Your team has great bedside manor but you are not a heartfelt compassionate care team.when our beautiful chop was brought in not only did you not even touch her you never even took her temp. Your uncaring money orinted ethics took out chop from us as well as her new friend 6 months old hersey whom you put down yesterday. And a best friend of chop is now in harms wAy due to your stand in door way cold hearted life taking advice. Your morals ethics and standards stood beyond any otherur three county area that brought us to you is no longer a part of your work and degree area has become what may be your downfall. We will try to forgive you for doing what you have done to us. But please tell us in honor of chop aka chacha what did she ever do to you for you to cause her to suffer and die. And now her sidekick is in danger. Hope you return to the compassionate caring crew we use to know. You were very wrong and we are paying for it.as we try to forgive each of you. I pray you can come back to being the once best around. I'll say have a great life as now she can't.

The hospital can be reached by phone at (910) 276-5300 or mobile at +1 910-276-5300. As a "Pet Hospital" category establishment, it is expected to provide a range of medical services for companion animals.

Environment: A Professional Setting for Animal Care

As a veterinary hospital, X-Way Road Animal Hospital would typically maintain a professional and clean environment designed for the care and treatment of animals. This generally includes a reception area for check-ins and waiting, examination rooms for consultations and basic check-ups, and potentially dedicated areas for diagnostic imaging, a laboratory, surgical procedures, and recovery. The specific layout and amenities would vary, but the fundamental aim is to provide a hygienic and organized space where veterinary professionals can perform their duties effectively. Many modern animal hospitals also consider factors that reduce stress for pets, such as separate waiting areas for different species or calming decor, to enhance the overall experience for animal patients and their owners.

Services: Comprehensive Veterinary Offerings

Based on information typically associated with a "Pet Hospital" and publicly available details for X-Way Road Animal Hospital, a comprehensive range of veterinary services would likely be offered. These commonly include:

  • Wellness Exams: Routine check-ups are fundamental for preventative care, allowing veterinarians to assess a pet's overall health, monitor for early signs of disease, and provide guidance on nutrition and exercise.

  • Vaccinations: Essential for protecting pets from various infectious diseases, vaccination protocols are typically tailored to the individual pet's lifestyle, age, and risk factors.

  • Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose illnesses and conditions, a hospital often utilizes various diagnostic tools. This may include in-house laboratory capabilities for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, as well as imaging services such as X-rays (radiology) to assess skeletal and internal organ health.

  • General Dentistry: Oral health is a critical component of a pet's overall well-being. Services commonly include professional dental cleanings under anesthesia, extractions if necessary, and guidance on at-home dental care.

  • Surgical Procedures: A veterinary hospital generally performs a range of surgical interventions, from routine spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries. This typically involves pre-surgical evaluations, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.

  • Pain Management: Addressing and alleviating pain is a key aspect of compassionate veterinary care, particularly for pets recovering from surgery, injury, or managing chronic conditions. This can involve various medications and therapeutic approaches.

  • Microchipping: This service provides permanent identification for pets, greatly increasing the chances of a lost pet being reunited with its owner.

  • Pharmacy Services: An in-house pharmacy allows for convenient access to prescribed medications for pets.

  • Prescription Diets: Offering a range of specialized prescription diets for pets with specific health conditions, such as kidney disease, allergies, or obesity.

  • Ear Care: Diagnosis and treatment of ear infections and other ear-related issues.

  • Bathing and Medical Grooming: Some veterinary hospitals offer grooming services, particularly for pets with skin conditions or those requiring sedation for grooming.

  • Boarding: Providing a safe and supervised environment for pets when their owners are away.

  • Care for various animals: The hospital notes that they provide care for cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, exotic, and small animals, indicating a broad range of species they are equipped to treat.

Features: Reported Strengths and Areas of Concern

Based on general information about veterinary practices and available public reviews, X-Way Road Animal Hospital exhibits certain features:

  • Broad Animal Scope: The hospital's stated ability to care for a wide variety of animal types, from common pets like dogs and cats to exotic animals, suggests a diverse skillset within the practice.

  • Established Presence: The presence of an address and contact information indicates an established physical location for veterinary services.

  • Acceptance of Pet Assure: The mention of being a Pet Assure member practice indicates a commitment to offering potential cost savings to clients through a discount plan.

However, it is important to acknowledge that public reviews provide mixed feedback on certain aspects of the hospital's operations. Some reviews express serious concerns regarding patient care and professional demeanor, citing instances where pet owners felt their animals did not receive adequate examination or compassionate treatment, leading to perceived negative outcomes. These accounts suggest areas where clients felt there was a lack of empathy, thoroughness in examination, and clear communication. Conversely, other reviews praise the staff and doctors for being caring and responsive, particularly in managing ongoing conditions like seizures, and express trust in the veterinarians. These contrasting perspectives highlight that client experiences can vary significantly.

Promotional Information: Focus on Comprehensive Care

Typical promotional strategies for a veterinary hospital like X-Way Road Animal Hospital would often center on highlighting their comprehensive range of services and commitment to animal health. Based on general industry practices, this might include:

  • Website and Online Presence: Maintaining a website that details services, veterinarian bios (if available), and clinic hours, and potentially utilizing social media to engage with the community and share pet health information.

  • Preventative Care Emphasis: Promoting the importance of routine wellness exams and vaccinations as a cornerstone of long-term pet health.

  • Specialized Services: Highlighting specific services like advanced diagnostics, surgical capabilities, or dental care to attract clients with particular needs.

  • Accessibility: Emphasizing convenient operating hours (Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., closed Saturdays and Sundays, as per some listings) and potentially same-day appointment availability where feasible.

  • Client Education: Providing resources or advice on pet care, nutrition, and common health issues to empower pet owners.

  • Payment Options: Informing clients about accepted payment methods, including financing options like CareCredit, to make veterinary care more accessible.

While the hospital's own promotional materials would focus on its strengths, the varied public reviews suggest that potential clients may also consult independent review platforms to gauge the overall client experience and align with their expectations for veterinary care.

This review is in regard to Compton Kottyan. My father brought him in last month to be seen by Olivia, due to an eye infection that was still causing him problems. My father was totally disrespected and taken aback by how he was treated and talked to by Olivia. My father was told “he’s overweight, when he comes in here dying and you expect me to perform a miracle it won’t happen”. Olivia did NOT examine Compton to see if she felt anything nor has she in the last several years. We were at Xway animal hospital frequently… shots, blood work, toe nail trims, ear infections, etc. Our animals have been fully vetted or so we thought, clearly after looking at the position we are in now… our dog, DID NOT RECEIVE THE CARE HE NEEDED. Looking back, our animals have never been touched by Olivia.. she only ever would talk to us. Talking and applying needed medical examinations are TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS. After my father witnessed how aloof she was and quite frankly didn’t care at all… he was honestly, flabbergasted.. to the point he sought a new veterinarian. My father had Comptons medical records transferred to Academy Animal Hospital THAT SAME DAY and was seen by Doctor Goff for extensive testing for the problem that wasn’t taken serious by Olivia. Compton was diagnosed quickly by DOCTOR GOFF and stated his condition has been going on for a while. The doctor at Academy found and diagnosed Compton with thyroid cancer that has metastasized to his lungs and now skull. Olivia is the only one that “needs to lose weight” and she’s also not that great at her job. After speaking with multiple families within the area, this isn’t the first time Olivia has been negligent. Shame on you Olivia!!! The emotional turmoil you have caused my family and I due to your negligence just doesn’t sit well with me. YOU will be reported to the board and I don’t even know how YOU sleep at night ! Stay far away from this chop shop!

There are really nice folks working here. Visits with the vet are first come, first serve. This vet is so awesome that there are almost always quite a few folks, so there is normally a wait. I saw something on my cat I was concerned with, and the vet put my mind at ease for my 17+ year old. ** Update** I had to put my love to sleep on Dec4. The staff was so caring and helpful. They really do understand our love for our 'furbabies'. I recommend them 100% and when I own a new cat, he or she will be going there.

X Way is awesome. I have only been here twice, and the last time it was to put our beloved dog Bella down, everyone was so compassionate and kind, I will be using x-Way Animal Hospital in the future it's worth the drive from Cheraw where we don't have a decent vet.

I take all my pets here. The office is full of sweet caring ladies that really demonstrate their love of animals. No appointment necessary for regular visits... You pull up to a drive-thru window and register. Prices are reasonable too. I just had 2 pups spayed and everything went like clockwork 🐕‍🦺
