World of Animals at South Philadelphia

I can’t recommend World of Animals enough, from the ease of scheduling with their caring and friendly front desk specialist Debbie, to the compassionate, gentle, and thorough care my dog received from their Vet Tech Zoey and the Doctor. everyone on this team is incredibly professional, friendly, and understanding. My dog loves visiting World of Animals South Philly! From the moment we walk in, the entire team makes Poppy feel like a VIP. They always greet her by name and remember her allergies, ensuring she gets the right treats every time. This level of personalized care truly sets them apart. My dog has anxiety during blood draws, but the staff's understanding and compassionate approach makes a difference. They take extra measures to minimize her stress, which I deeply appreciate. Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and the front desk staff are consistently helpful and responsive. It's always great knowing that there's a team of professionals and animal lovers that I can rely on.

We were extremely nervous, as our cat was ill for several days and vomiting. Other vets would not give me a fairly reasonable or quick appt. The staff scheduled us as a new patient immediately with kindness and empathy. During the visit, the doctor and staff were extremely attentive, concerned, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle and patient, as our cat Dixon was extremely fearful. We left feeling that they truly care and that Dixon received thorough and excellent care. We are confident that they gave him the best treatment and highly recommend World of Animals to anyone who truly wants the best love and care. We are extremely grateful and will be making them our new vet for Dixon and our other two Casts.

My family just got a dog and neither my wife or I have ever owned a dog before. Everyone at World of Animals was so sweet and kind to our new miniature schnauzer! He even got a toy for being such a good boy while getting a shot and some blood drawn for a test. They were so patient in answering all the "new dog owner" questions I had about food, barking behavior, etc. and I never felt like I was rushed despite being the last appointment of the day. They were very thorough in describing the "lifestyle" vaccines that I should consider and not pushy about getting them. The whole experience was amazing from beginning to end. I wish my own doctors office experience was as good as World of Animals!

My dog Bruce absolutely loves coming to World of Animals South Philadelphia. Dr. Wrigley, Erin, and the whole staff are always kind and informative. Everything is always explained clearly, with all options for care presented. I feel lucky to have such a great vet so close to home!

I called all the vet practices around with PennVet alumni. This practice was the most personable and caring on the phone. Our visit experience was great. I feel confident we have made the right choice. Our relationship hopefully will last many years.
