Dr Colby and his staff are fantastic!!! I have a bunny that had been treated by another vet for chronic upper respiratory. I decided to see Dr Colby for a second opinion and was blown away at how thorough he was with her and the time he took with me going over her condition. What a great bed side manner he has!!!! He is for sure my go to vet from now on for my 4 bunnies!!! His staff is also so kind!! He is also recommended by The Rabbit Society! In the waiting room today for a follow up I met a lady who was there for a second opinion for her bunny and I told her, well you picked the right place and fantastic doctor!!!

I won't trust my fur child to anyone else!! It's been 8 years and this is the only vet office for me! Everyone is kind, they give the best care, they follow up with you and make you feel like a priority to them, not just a customer paying for a service saying, ok-next. They also teach you preventative solutions to avoid certain conditions prone to bunnies to keep them happy, healthy and give them a long life. This is also the vet recommended by The House Rabbit Society of Georgia (which won't even give you a bunny without a screening and classes to learn proper care and more about rabbits). Many people are unaware how long a rabbit's life-span is. With PROPER care they live 10-15 years. Windward Animal Hospital has saved my bunny's life 3 times from stasis, now he never even gets it anymore. They have taught me what to look out for and preventative treatments!! My bunny was about 6 weeks when I got him and now he is 8 years old, his life-span is dependent on the education and excellence care that I have received from the doctors and staff at Windward. If this is not your vet's office, it should be. 😁🐰🐇

Dr. Colby is the most knowledgeable exotic Veterinarian in the region. He also has a great and attentive staff. I always feel my bunnies are in good hands.

Dr. Scales is great! He takes time to talk through all your concerns and is patient with new pet owners (we inherited a beaded dragon and had zero reptile experience). Our vet tech was Giovanni and she was also great. She was thorough with her questions and gave us great information to be better caregivers.

The staff were super nice and very knowledgeable. They worked with me when I said I would be late and weren't judgey in the slightest. All my questions about my pet were answered and they broke down any questions I had regrading the financial side of it as well. 10/10 would recommend.

From someone scared to get a spay to a now reoccurring patient. Despite the hassle of an hour drive, I’ll only go here. I stayed up the night before her spay reading the reviews here. So if that’s you, here’s my piece: I rescued my bunny July 7th from the street. Many other vets told me she likely had the big C or a heart issue and to just put her down. I handled most of it via the ER. A few months later I was ready to get her spayed and signed up for their low cost spay. I was terrified of taking her since other vets said she clearly had heart issues, there was a chance she wouldn’t make it during the spay. I expressed my concern (a ton) and they reassured me she would be evaluated prior to the spay. Not only did she make it but them doing internal stitches made the recovery WAY easier!!! She had only been seen there for that. I had issues with a bunsitter misfeeding my baby and I called this vet and instead of making me drive an hour and spend $$$ - they guided me through at home care! I’ve seen reviews saying they were money hungry but I’ve experienced quite the opposite. She’s been seen for vaccine too now and a different issue. They were extremely kind, caring, and adapted to what I could afford at the time. They work with GHRS meaning they see significantly more bunnies than other vets - they were able to correct lots of misinformation I had been given by vets prior (including fixing her diet) and they are able to offer low cost versions of stuff that cost way more elsewhere. The vet was so patient with me pouring out questions because I was so worried about her. They supplied me with resources and tons of advice! I love that I can call and get free vet advice too. They’re caring and check in on her as well. Very happy with them and thankful!! Pictures of her post spay happy as can be! Shaved belly and still doing her flops! I feel bad seeing other’s post about issues post spay and just become more and more thankful for the internal stitches. Can’t wait to rescue a friend for her soon and adding him as a patient to Windward! Massive thank you to all of the staff there. You are all so knowledgeable , helpful, and extremely accommodating. The fact I can call in and get immediate answers because even the receptionist is knowledgeable? Incredible. Thank you for taking care of my baby and helping me learn how to take care of her. So thank you from monopoly and I (however she still insists she’s not “chubby” she just has lots of fur 😂🩵)
