Been bringing my pets to Windham Animal Hospital my whole life, and now I've been bringing my own dog for the last five years. The vet gives my dog a lot of anxiety because she doesn't like to be poked and prodded. Everyone, from the receptionists, vet techs, to the vets, help my dog and I feel more comfortable and make what could be a stressful experience into a safe, comforting experience. I've gotten great advice over the years on how best to take care of her and create fun and safe experiences for her.

We've been going here for years for our dogs (and now cat), but it's time to switch places. Quality has gone downhill and it doesn't look like it'll get better. Like other reviews say, you get to wait 20-30 minutes after your scheduled appointment (made months in advance) and you get rushed out as quickly as possible without any time to ask questions. The amount of money is absolutely insane and seems to change every time, we're rarely seen by the same veterinarian (how many are cycling through this place?), and everything seems either like life or death or nothing to be concerned about. Found a bald patch on my adult cat that seemed concerning and I get told it's overgrooming because of allergies (no discussion of narrowing down what exactly this allergy is---environmental or food or something else), they give him a steroid shot before I can even ask about it, and I'm told to bring him in twice a year for this from now on. Yeah sure I'll pay an office visit + service fees for this steroid shot twice a year for whoever knows how long until it clears up. IF it ever clears up since I don't know how to deduce what the allergy is and they don't seem to want to help point me in the right direction to find out. Sure. We can totally afford that. I'm thankful for the people who have helped us with our past pets---we euthanized one of dogs here over a decade ago and we were treated with care, and thought this hospital would be a good environment to find pet care from then on. However, as time went on we left this place with more frustration and lighter wallets. Try not to go here unless it's an emergency, I guess.

As a fairly new client (less than 1 year), l continue to be extremely impressed with the care provided by Windham Animal Hospital. My 11 year old cat is not the easiest patient. She also has diabetes and requires extra attention to her daily health. Despite her issues, the staff at WAH are pros at meeting her needs. They also take the time to answer my questions and educate me on home care. Moreover, it is obvious that the dedicated individuals who work there, are deeply committed to their profession. They are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and caring. I trust their judgment implicitly and appreciate the peace of mind that affords me. Thank you for your amazing level of care. I wholeheartedly recommend WAH to any pet owner seeking s premier veterinarian group.

Windham Animal Hospital staff is amazing! We immediately felt welcomed and were met with smiles from behind the counter. It may have been because I have the 2 cutest new pups but regardless we all still felt like we were in the right place! The doctor was very thorough with the exam and super knowledgeable, and I instantly knew my little ones were in good hands! She was also very specific with directions and steps that I need to take to best care for my pups, which was very helpful. And she was really patient whenever answering questions that I had. I’m certain that when we go back that I will feel 100% confident in their level of care!!
