I’ve been coming here with my dogs for the last few years. I’m grateful the staff has always been so kind and welcoming from the front desk, assistants, to the doctors. I had to put one of my dogs down today and it was one of the most heartbreaking decisions of my life. I wanted my dog to know I was there until his last breath. There’s not enough information & preparation that can prepare you for how you might feel. It didn’t feel real to me and I freaked out a bit. I kept wanting to go back in, I really didn’t know what to do in the minutes that’s followed. Some of it feels like a blur now, but what I am very clear about is Dr. Winwood and the staff who were there today were so kind and compassionate to me and my dog. They were the light in one of the darkest days for me. I’m grateful beyond words that my dog was surrounded by such light.

I’m grateful the staff has always been so kind and welcoming from the front desk, assistants, to the doctors. I had to put one of my dogs down today and it was one of the most heartbreaking decisions of my life. I wanted my dog to know I was there until his last breath. I’m grateful beyond words that my dog was surrounded by such light." This heartfelt review underscores the exceptional level of compassion and support provided by Dr. Winwood and the entire staff during the incredibly difficult process of euthanizing a beloved pet. The reviewer specifically mentions the consistent kindness and welcoming nature of everyone at the hospital, from the initial point of contact at the front desk to the assistants and doctors. The way they handled such a sensitive situation, providing comfort and support to both the pet and the grieving owner, speaks volumes about their empathetic approach to veterinary care. Dr Spencer is AMAZING! He treats my lil westie with loving care and his extensive knowledge and bedside manner (so to speak) is impeccable. He does the research and follows up and makes you feel comfortable. They don't make them like him anymore. My dog absolutely loves him too!

I switched vets because this place is terrible. My dog HATES this vet office. I'm certain they were mishandling/abusing my dog when they took him for any examination. They missed a torn ACL on my lab and tried to hock supplements on me. My dog had a torn ACL for months because the incompetent vet couldn't figure it out. Blue Pearl animal hospital took five minutes to figure out his ACL was torn and that he needed surgery. Truly an inferior vet.

White clay has been our vet office for over 15 years now and we've always seen Dr. Winwood for the care of our dogs. The office has always been good to us weather it was routine appointments or the occasional need to get in ASAP. We are Pittie lovers and again between office and Dr.Winwood they have always been amazing and accepting of our pups. Unfortunately we just lost another one of our fur babies recently and the love and support that was offered from Dr. Winwood was very much needed. Thank you guys for everything you've done for our family. I'm sure we'll you guys again in the future.
