Went in on Tuesday, November 5th, with my pup who’s eye was bulging out of place. I was attended to quickly (was actually the only person there for the entire 4ish hours i was there). The staff was amazing and the vet (whose name i failed to get) explained everything clearly and with empathy for both my emotional and fincancial situation. They worked hard to get his eye back in place and that helped avoid a more invasive surgery and a more hefty bill! Was still expensive but worth every cent since my baby is recovering well! He got the stitches out friday and my vet confirmed he has full vision in both eyes. They transferred information about the procedure to my vet so they were fully informed when I went in for the follow up appointment. Thank you very much for your hard work and passion for animals! pictures below show right after procedure and today!

Nov 18, 2024 · ximena zeoNew and clean facility. Lots of parking and easy to find the building. Staff were super helpful and kind to me and my cat when we came in for impacted anal glands. Very affordable for an Emergency Visit. Hopefully we won't have to go to the ER again, but if we do I will definitely come back!
Feb 16, 2025 · Juice RomanMy Baby Girl chihuahua ran away on 7/5 due to fireworks. Good Samaritan found her immobile on Exposition/Downing bright her here. She was able to walk by time reached vet but it was 2 hours till I got there. Thank goodness she was chipped! The team were calm and thorough as they told me the dog was actually 100 ok! They kept Baby peaceful and calmed me after I came in freaking out! Love to all! So blessed you opened 3 mo ago! Keep up the great work!pic is at the vet.
Jul 11, 2024 · Bumblebee MePleasant and efficient reception. Excellent and caring treatment from vet and vet tech. My Malamute ingested some garbage from an old campsite she found. They ensured she didn't have an obstruction after she vomited several times. They also treated her with subcutaneous fluids and nausea medication. Anouk is back to normal today and I am so grateful.
Sep 10, 2024 · Diana DonusDO NOT TRUST THEIR ADVICE ON URGENT CARE CASES. I called them after my dog ingested a pound of dark chocolate 3 hours prior. I gave them my dogs weight, the exact amount chocolate, and the percentage of dark chocolate. The receptionist was clueless and the vet tech told me that it was too late to make her throw up and the only thing I could do was watch her for signs of a seizure. TWO hours later my dog started dry heaving so I called the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Denver. They ran the same calculations and told me to bring her in immediately. They induced vomiting and a substantial amount came out. She had ingested fatally toxic levels so they kept her overnight due to heart palpitations. VEG said that if she didn’t throw up what she did, it would have been so much worse. I STRONGLY recommend VEG, the staff is knowledgeable and kind. WHEAT RIDGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL TOLD ME IT WAS TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING. They are a JOKE
