This is by far the best vet my cats have ever been to! Always thorough and straightforward, they go above and beyond for every animal they see and somehow stay affordable. You can tell they actually truly care about our pets ❤️ Even sitting in the waiting room and seeing them greet other pets and pet parents brings a smile to my face because they are so caring and welcoming towards everyone that walks in the door, human or animal. I'd give then more than 5 stars if I could, I absolutely love them! Highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in the Worcester area, they're incredible!

A cornerstone of our services at Westside Animal Clinic is preventative care. We believe that regular wellness check-ups are essential for maintaining your pet's long-term health and detecting any potential issues early. These thorough examinations allow our experienced veterinary team to assess your pet's overall condition, discuss any concerns you may have, and develop a personalized preventative care plan. This plan may include tailored vaccination protocols based on your pet's species, age, lifestyle, and risk factors. We also emphasize the importance of parasite prevention, offering guidance on effective strategies to protect your pet from fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other harmful parasites.
Nutritional counseling is another vital component of our preventative care services. Our team can provide expert advice on selecting the appropriate diet for your pet's specific needs, whether they are a growing puppy or kitten, an active adult, or a senior with specific dietary requirements. We can also assist with weight management programs to help your pet achieve and maintain a healthy weight, which is crucial for their overall well-being and can help prevent various health problems.

Apr 18, 2025 · Maile KoltonIt was discovered on Leia's last annual wellness check up that she required hernia repair surgery. It was scheduled quickly at a time that worked for me. Leia is recovering quickly. Raven from West Side suggested that I could use a dog recovery suit while she is healing and it was a Godsend to not have to keep her in the Elizabethan collar that she hates. All went well and everyone was helpful and kind. They provided clear post-op instructions and were available to answer questions that I had a couple of days later. It has been a very good experience to have her care done at West Side Animal Clinic.
Apr 04, 2025 · Barbara ThompsonI had moved to Worcester about a year and a half ago, leaving my old vet of over ten years. They were incredibly attentive to our pets (two cats and a dog) needs and I knew it would be hard to find a similar vet. After being less than satisfied with one local vet, I found Westside Animal Clinic. I have only been in for one wellness check for both of my cats but I have to say, I was very impressed with their service. The staff is attentive and their love of animals shows.
Feb 20, 2025 · Robert SimoglouI was not happy with my last vet, and the way they treated my American pitbull terrier, the sweetest girl in the world, Maggie. Westside was recommended to me by our trainer, as a place that was welcoming to “scary” breeds, and even though it was a bit of a drive-we took a chance. I AM SO HAPPY THAT WE DID. I can’t say enough good things about this practice, and everyone who works there. They are so kind and understanding-and they aren’t afraid of her. They didn’t slap a muzzle on her at first sight, and write her off as aggressive before even spending a minute with her, just because she is a Pitbull. They got to know her. They realized that she is just nervous, and excited, and she doesn’t want to sit still because there are so many new friends to say hi to-instead of rushing through her appointments and being annoyed by this-they get down on the ground and sit with her. And talk to her. And give her treats and tell her what a good girl she is. For way longer than any other vet would. They try everything until they find what works for your specific dog-they aren’t a “one solution fits all” kind of place. And it might seem minor-but they are genuinely happy and smile when they see her. Which is huge when you’re used to people crossing the street to avoid you, but you have a dog who wants to be friends with every human that she sees. It makes me so happy that they actually see her for the good girl that she is. They’re understanding, they’re patient, and everyone there seems to truly love animals. If you have a bully breed, or another large breed that people think is scary-and you’re not happy with your current vet-COME HERE. You won’t regret it!
