Wellness Animal Hospital - White Eagle

We recently visited Wellness Animal Hospital on SR 64 in Bradenton with our ailing cat Rocky. We called them on a Friday afternoon one hour before closing,Tiffany fit us into their busy schedule. She was very pleasant and eager to help.When we arrived Carissa checked us in, and we didn’t wait long to be put in an exam room. She was extremely helpful. Lauren, the vet tech helped us gather all the information to diagnose his illness,she was very thorough .Dr. Victoria Lear was the vet that took care of Rocky. She explained all the treatment options and was very thorough explaining the results of all lab tests. The pricing was very reasonable. One hour later we left the office with medications and a treatment plan.Because of Dr. Lear’s knowledge and experience our cat is doing much better. We would highly recommend Wellness Animal Hospital for your beloved pet. The entire staff was very efficient , friendly and professional.

Terrible experience. No point in making an appointment with Dr.Aric as he likes to have his vet techs communicate and relay messages instead of spending the time to discuss matters himself. Likes to give diagnosis as “could be” “might be” “not sure” and then proceed to ignore you and not call back for weeks straight to give explanation. Kept my dog locked in back for 8 hours to do a half assed ultrasound when another place took 20 minutes. Didn’t give my dog the correct medications nor did he have any answers when we asked him what else we could give because what he recommended clearly wasn’t helping. As much as I like blunt feedback being told say goodbye to your dog, he’s going to die any day now instead of recommending somewhere else that knows how to do real ultrasounds to get a 2nd opinion or be diagnosed correctly or even suggest chemo is absolutely heartless.

We are new to the Bradenton area and visited Wellness Animal Hospital on SR 64 to establish care for our senior cat Kippa. We are so happy we chose to bring Kippa here, the doctors, technicians and staff are so caring, kind and compassionate. We saw Dr. Arik on our first visit and Paige was our tech. They really take the time to listen to you, answer your questions and create a reasonable plan of care. Our next visit we saw Dr. Lear and again Paige was our tech. They both are so warm, welcoming and genuinely caring. We experienced the same amazing bedside manner as we experienced on the first visit. We are happy to be a new part of the Wellness Animal Hospital at White Eagle. I would recommend this veterinarian to everyone in the area!

Dixie has been scared to death of vets for 4 years. This place was amazing! They all loved on her for several visits till her actual appointment. She was finally able to have her Rabies shot WITHOUT being tied down and crying! Dr. Victoria Lear was absolutely the BEST!

Wonderful place. 2nd time at LWR location & I just love it there. Everyone is so kind and explain things well. My pets always receive excellent care at reasonable prices. 5 stars
