Jan 02, 2025 · Quayne GennaroEveryone was so nice. The vet explained every detail of my dogs upcoming surgery, down to drawing a diagram. I was worried because my guy is very reactive & will protect me if someone is too close to me, I told them this. To my surprise I was told, "of course he is, he's a terrier!" As I was given a big smile. They had me come n a different door away from the others that were there. The bigger surprise was how well my dog responded to them! Never barked or tried to bite, & he went back with them without issue. They were great with us both.
May 09, 2025 · carla buggVirginia Veterinary Specialists is a wonderful practice and has helped me over the years with a variety of pets. I've seen Dr. Paling, Dr. Ryan, Dr. Purnell, Dr. Schillinger, Dr. Stiffler for surgery and most recently Dr. Crouse for my geriatric cat's chemo treatment. All of the doctors and staff go above and beyond to make the pet and owner experience as great as possible, especially given that you are often there with a sick or injured pet. Highly recommend VVS to anyone looking for another opinion on a complex medical matter, for surgery, further diagnostics and advanced care/chemo. Truly a great resource and a great group of vets and staff that we are lucky to have in the area!
