Welcome to VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic
Welcome to VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic, located at 494 Westgate Dr in Brockton, Massachusetts. As a Pet Hospital focused on providing essential preventative care, our primary service is the administration of vaccinations to help protect your beloved animal companions from a range of preventable diseases. We understand the importance of keeping your pets healthy and aim to offer these services in a manner that considers their comfort and well-being.
One of the aspects highlighted by a pet owner is our approach to handling anxious animals. They specifically mentioned that their dog, who dislikes being restrained, experienced a "fantastic job" during the administration of injections. The staff was reportedly able to restrain the dog effectively without triggering a negative fight or flight response. This suggests that our team is trained in techniques that minimize stress and anxiety for pets during vaccination procedures, which is a significant benefit for owners of sensitive animals.
However, it is important to present a complete and unbiased picture based on all available feedback. One customer shared a considerably negative experience regarding their visit to our clinic. According to their review, a scheduled clinic time of 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM was not adhered to, with the veterinarian arriving late at 1:45 PM and other staff members arriving even later at 2:15 PM. This delay in service could be a significant inconvenience for pet owners with busy schedules.
The same reviewer also reported an issue with the transaction during their visit. They purchased heartworm tests and heartworm prevention products but left without receiving a receipt. This lack of documentation can be problematic for pet owners who need to keep track of their pet's medical history and purchases. Ensuring accurate and complete transaction records is a fundamental aspect of professional service.
A subsequent visit by the same customer to purchase more heartworm medication, for which they had a prescription, was also met with challenges. They were reportedly asked for proof of rabies vaccination and faced resistance even after presenting the rabies tag and all available documentation for their 11-month-old puppy. This suggests a strict adherence to policy, which, while potentially in place for valid reasons, was perceived as argumentative and frustrating by the pet owner. Clear and consistent communication regarding required documentation is essential to avoid such negative experiences.
The reviewer concluded by expressing extreme dissatisfaction with their overall experience, advising other pet owners to bring their dogs elsewhere if they wish to avoid a stressful situation. This strong negative feedback indicates significant shortcomings in the customer's interaction with our clinic, particularly concerning punctuality, transaction management, and policy application.
As a vaccination clinic, our primary services revolve around administering essential vaccines for dogs and cats to protect them against common and potentially life-threatening diseases. These typically include core vaccines like rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and adenovirus for dogs, and rabies, feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia for cats. We also offer other important vaccines based on your pet's lifestyle and risk factors, such as those for kennel cough, Lyme disease, and feline leukemia.
In addition to vaccinations, as indicated by one of the reviews, we also provide heartworm testing and offer heartworm prevention products, which are crucial for the health and well-being of pets in regions where heartworm disease is prevalent. We operate under the guidance of licensed veterinarians who can provide prescriptions for necessary medications, such as heartworm preventatives.
While our focus is primarily on preventative care through vaccinations and parasite prevention, we may also offer basic health screenings as part of the vaccination process. However, we are likely not a full-service veterinary hospital equipped for complex medical diagnoses, surgeries, or long-term illness management. Our environment is likely geared towards efficient and streamlined vaccination services.
The reviews do not provide specific details about the clinic's physical environment beyond the fact that services are offered at a specific address. It is reasonable to assume that the facility is set up to efficiently administer vaccinations and conduct basic health checks. Given the focus on vaccinations, the environment might be less elaborate than a full-service veterinary hospital.
The provided information does not include any details about promotional offers or discounts. As a clinic focused on a specific service, our pricing for vaccinations and preventative medications may be competitive. For any current promotions or package deals on vaccination series or preventative products, it would be best to contact VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic directly at (800) 427-7973 or +1 800-427-7973.
In conclusion, VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic in Brockton, MA, offers vaccination services for pets, with one positive review highlighting their ability to handle anxious dogs effectively during injections. However, another review raises significant concerns regarding punctuality, transaction management, and customer service related to policy enforcement. While our core service is preventative care through vaccinations and parasite prevention, it is important for potential clients to be aware of the mixed feedback regarding the overall customer experience. We encourage local pet owners to contact us directly for more information about our services and policies.

My dog is anxious and doesn’t like to be squeezed when restrained. They did a fantastic jobs restraining him without triggering his fight or flight response when administering his injections!
Jan 30, 2025 · Meredith MahnkeIt was March……Clinic scheduled from 1-230. Vet arrived at 145. Staff arrived at 215. After heartworm tests and heart worm products purchase left without so much as a receipt. Went back today, May 4, to pick up more heart worm meds because they have the prescription. Demanded proof of rabies vax or would not sell me the pills. Brought the rabies tag and every piece of documentation I’ve ever had on this 11 month old puppy…still argued with me. If you like to tear your hair out with your bare hands, bring your dog here.
May 05, 2025 · Peter GeoffroyExcellent experience getting my senior cat a rabies vaccine. The staff was professional, kind, and knowledgeable.
Apr 24, 2025 · Jackie ErlichI always get my dogs vaccines through VIP Petcare. They are significantly cheaper, over half the price than at my vets office. They have upfront pricing online. It was my newest fur babies first time out in public and she was very nervous but the ladies were so sweet to her. She was wagging her tail and rolling over for a belly rubs. They explained what all the vaccines were to me and I wasn't pushed into anything like other places. I also liked that I got money off heartworm testing with purchase of heartguard another bonus I wasn't offered elsewhere. I was recently at an emergency vet and the tech there whispered to me to go here its cheaper. It was by 200 bucks!
Jul 19, 2023 · Charla BushGreat staff and prices. Purchased the puppy package for our Guss ( French bulldog). Like the idea of just showing up if we have a concerns or nail filling.
