These ladies are absolutely amazing. My dog is high anxiety and they are really helpful at keeping her calm. Game changer to have them come to our home and in their office, she was only mildly pacing instead of shaking and pawing at the door like normal clinics. They were also super nice when she lost bowel control after a procedure and let loose.

Welcome to VIP@Home Vet- Very Important Pet Veterinary Services
VIP@Home Vet - Very Important Pet Veterinary Services, located at 5700 6th Ave S Ste 217 in Seattle, WA, represents a modern and considerate approach to animal healthcare within the "Pet Hospital" category. This veterinary service distinguishes itself by offering the convenience of in-home veterinary care alongside traditional clinic appointments, catering particularly to pets who experience anxiety or stress when visiting a veterinary office.
A recurring theme in the customer reviews for VIP@Home Vet is the exceptional compassion and understanding shown by the team, especially towards animals with anxiety. One reviewer described their dog as having "high anxiety" and expressed immense gratitude for the staff's ability to keep her calm during veterinary visits. This highlights a core feature of VIP@Home Vet: their commitment to creating a less stressful experience for pets. The option of in-home care is specifically mentioned as a "game changer," as the dog exhibited significantly less anxiety in her familiar home environment compared to the typical stress experienced at traditional clinics.
The team at VIP@Home Vet, including Dr. Q and Coral (as mentioned in one review), are praised for their patient and compassionate approach. One pet owner with a dog who is generally distrustful of humans shared that they trust Dr. Q and Coral implicitly to treat their dog with kindness and understanding. This ability to "meet your animal on their level" and proceed at the pet's pace, "as slowly as it needs to be sometimes," is a testament to their gentle and empathetic care philosophy. This patient-centered approach is crucial for building trust with animals, especially those who are fearful or anxious during veterinary examinations and procedures.
The services offered by VIP@Home Vet likely encompass a wide range of veterinary care, both through their mobile in-home service and at their clinic location. Based on the positive reviews, these services include routine check-ups, vaccinations, and potentially more involved procedures. The fact that the staff was "super nice" when a dog experienced an accident after a procedure indicates their professionalism and caring attitude even in unexpected situations. The availability of both in-home and clinic appointments suggests a flexible model designed to meet the diverse needs of pet owners and their animals.
The environment of VIP@Home Vet is noteworthy due to its dual nature. For in-home visits, the environment is the pet's own familiar surroundings, which significantly reduces stress for many animals. For clinic visits, the fact that a highly anxious dog was only "mildly pacing" compared to the severe anxiety displayed at other clinics suggests that the physical environment of their office is also designed to be calming and less intimidating. This could involve factors such as a quiet waiting area, comfortable examination rooms, and staff who are trained in low-stress handling techniques.
Features of VIP@Home Vet - Very Important Pet Veterinary Services include their mobile in-home veterinary service, which is a significant convenience and stress-reducer for many pet owners and their animals. Their demonstrated expertise in handling anxious pets with patience and compassion is another key differentiator. The positive reviews highlight the dedication and kindness of their team, including Dr. Q and Coral, and their commitment to providing thorough and considerate care. The combination of in-home and clinic options allows for flexibility and ensures that pets receive the necessary medical attention in the environment where they feel most comfortable.

Jan 21, 2025 · AliaI have a dog who does not trust most humans, and every appointment we have with Dr. Q and Coral I can trust them show Rita patience and compassion. Having kind vets in her corner is a huge game changer when it comes to making sure Rita gets the appropriate care she needs. They meet your animal on their level and go from there- as slowly as it needs to be sometimes. Thank you!
Aug 05, 2024 · Liz BradleyI have relied on Dr. Q and Coral for end of life care for two of my pets and I don't know how we would have navigated the process without them. By coming to our home, Dr. Q and Coral were able to assess the decline of my pets holistically. They really knew my animals and their habits and when changes had occurred. They are gifted medical professionals and compassionate people. I would (and have) recommend them to pet parents in a heartbeat. Huge thank you to Dr. Q and Coral for all that they do!
Nov 30, 2023 · Caroline GerdesDr. Q and Coral are amazing! I have a very anxious dog named Izzy (and am a very anxious dog mom), and they are great with her. She actually wags her tail when she sees them. When she used to go to the vet in person, she’d be shaking a ton and panting, and it was honestly so hard to watch. I don’t know what I’d do without their team. They are both so great at answering questions over email too and calming any worries that come up. I am eternally grateful that Izzy gets to have them in her life!! Included an obligatory dog pic
Aug 23, 2022 · Samantha KassemDr. Q was our much needed second opinion when we had to make super difficult decisions about our beloved dog who had cancer and developed anemia. She really understands what it is to live with a companion and soul mate whose lifespan is painfully shorter than ours. Dr. Q is really the best and I wished I lived closer for her to be my regular vet!
