I never write reviews but I think the level of greed at this office is really gross. The vets have generally been nice but the prices are absurd and, on top of that, if you have to move the appointment even one hour, they charge $50. I had a last minute situation with my child and they refused to make an exception one time, despite me sharing the situation with them. When I asked for a rationale for the fee for such a minimal modification, I was told the doctor “has other appointments scheduled” but also that if I wanted to move it an hour I could, as there WAS availability, I just needed to pay a fee. To me this says they’re not compassionate, they’re just taking as much as they can from their loyal customers of several years. I look forward to going to a new vet group that is human and caring, rather than extraordinarily greedy.

I shared this on their other page because we have been a customer of both locations. it has taken me a while to write this this review because it has been very emotionally difficult, but I feel like it is my duty to warn others about Vinegar Hill Vet. My dog was a patient at this clinic and from the beginning, we had major issues with her care. The care was inconsistent, as we saw different vets at each visit. One was insensitive and made jokes while telling us that our dog is diagnosed with a heart issue- wildly inappropriate. When my dog was pooping viscus blood for days, they brushed it off as normal and ignored our concerns. The vet we saw even made a comment that I kept bringing it up because it was getting on my carpet and I was annoyed which was so hurtful to hear because I knew something was seriously wrong. We took my dog to see them for the third time and finally another vet that was there for the day told us we need to rush her to the hospital. The staff at the hospital said that if we waited any longer, they don’t know if she would have made it. Her gastrointestinal issue also pushed her into heart failure. I believe that if my concerns were listened to, we could have gotten the help we needed and got her to the hospital sooner. Her health continued to decline and she was continuing care at the hospital, but we would send this clinic her updated reports and spoke to the secretary to please make sure someone reviews them. I don’t think anyone reviewed her records that were sent, because her lifesaving medication requests that we sent through Chewy were denied right away without even consulting us. She needed that medication for her heart. Also, in the beginning after my dog’s first echocardiogram, they gave my family member the wrong dog - which my family member did not realize until they were at her car (it was the same breed, and my relative only met my dog a handful of times). Please please please do not take your dog here - general visits for vaccines are probably okay but I believe they are disorganized, negligent, and not properly trained to recognize more serious concerns.

Outstanding Veterinary practice. Beloved feline, Alice, and Jake our rescue pup have had constant attention and care of a high standard. We are most grateful.

Friendly, professional, efficient doctors and staff. Appointments run smoothly with no long wait time. It's hard to find vets that will see exotic pets, so I'm glad to have found Vinegar Hill for my rabbits. They've always done right by us.

I've been taking my birds (Parakeets and a Cockatiel) here for a few years. Dr Neuman and the staff are great. She's very kind and gives thoughtful (and funny) advice.
