We have been taking our dogs to Doctor Mike for many years. He has always been very personable and easy to work with. I have never had any complaints, and I have always felt that I was treated fairly until recently. We have never had an issue with him. We have never had any type of disagreement or argument. I know that Doctor Mike is thinking about retirement and is not taking on any new clients and this may have led to the last experience I had with them. Doctor Mike typically does not allow clients in the office and has his assistants come out come and get your animal, take it in the office come out and then talk to you after he has performed whatever service or procedure that he feels needs to be done. However, I had an issue concerning one of my dogs, that he has been seeing and treating for nearly 12 years, that I really needed to discuss with Doctor Mike personally. When I requested to come into the clinic the office staff refused to let me go into the clinic to speak with him. Moreover Dr. Mike refused to come out and speak with me personally. I had to talk to him through one of his assistants who was not knowledgeable about anything and was quite rude and condescending. This really turned me off. (Now I must mention here that Doctor Mike has allowed me to come into the clinic when I had to have a dog euthanized, but he does not allow pet owners to come into the clinic for checkups or other services). So, for my money, when the veterinarian will not speak to me personally, it is time for me to find a new veterinarian. Doctor Mike has been very personable in the past with us and has treated us fairly but after this last interaction with the clinic I can no longer recommend them in good faith, nor can I continue to use their clinic in good faith. I'm sure that Doctor Mike doesn't really care about his Google ratings anymore since he is not taking new clients and I'm sure that this will not affect his business; however, I had to post something in good faith because I believe that this clinic no longer offers the professional and personal type services that are required for pet owners. So, while I do appreciate Doctor Mike’s service to me in the past, I can no longer recommend him and for the life of me after reading the recent reviews on Google, I cannot understand why his remaining clients are still allowing themselves to be treated so indifferently. It really is time for Doctor Mike to retire as it is clear to me that he no longer really cares about his clients.

Mar 06, 2025 · Rudolph HatfieldIf I could give 0 stars I would. Worst vet I've ever been to in my life. They sedated my cat without my knowledge and I had asked to be told what was happening before they did anything. They did xrays without my knowledge and without my consent and made me pay in full. Dr yelled at me and told me to get out when I asked why they did the x ray and I asked for a partial refund because I was upset that they told me beforehand on the phone they wouldn't do anything without my consent. Dr has no record of ever giving my cat an gray besides a handwritten note card that says she had an xray. My pets have been treated here for years and my family's pets too. After MANY OTHER bad experiences we will not support them any longer.
Feb 24, 2025 · Mykenzie MonroeMy wife called to inquire about scheduling an appointment for our cat, the receptionist rudely cut her off mid sentence and said they aren’t taking in any new patients and abruptly hung up. This place isn’t worth your time. Other clinics we called were much more professional and polite.
Dec 28, 2024 · NicI will never be taking my dog here again they did surgery on his ear and I told them I think his ear is infected and they told me no and I had to go in 4 different times to get his stitches out and they wanted me to go back in for a 5 time to get the rest of the stitches out and I told them I was moving. So I took my dog in to a different vet and they told me that he does have an infection where he had the surgery on his ear and they removed the last 2 stitches and they was no purpose that they were still in his ear because they weren’t holding anything
Feb 06, 2025 · Lauren BloomIf I could give 0 stars I would. This place lost my boyfriend’s grandmas pet cat. First of all, they don’t let you inside the facility with your pet which makes absolutely NO sense. My mother in law dropped off the cat to get fixed and they stated that she needed her shots before hand and they would keep her overnight and fix her in the morning. This family had previously taken their pets to this facility so they trusted them. Well the next morning came and went and when my mother in law called them to check on the cat, they stated the cat ran off as soon as she got out of the crate and is now missing. Not sure why they wouldn’t call them immediately to let them know. My MIL insisted she come in to the facility to try to coax the cat out to a familiar voice and they stated she cannot come inside as that is their policy. When my MIL became suspicious and asked if they were hiding something, the receptionist not only became frustrated, but used PROFANITY and hung up on her. It has now been 5 days and no cat. This place is not a safe space for your animals. This cat is one of the last connections my boyfriends grandma had to her husband who died last Christmas. This situation has only caused more trauma for this family and they should be absolutely ASHAMED AND SHUT DOWN. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. SHAME ON YOU VILLAGE “VETERINARY” CLINIC. Pure evil.
