This is the second time I have used this emergency practice. So happy to have found this facility when in need. Last week I noticed a ruptured anal gland, not pleasant. I made an appointment and was able to get my dog in quickly. They were so kind and caring. Wonderful Veterinarian. He is on antibiotics and healing as of this post. A big thank you to the staff!

Welcome to Veterinary Urgent Care Center - Plymouth

The Veterinary Urgent Care Center - Plymouth, situated at 34 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360, USA, serves as an invaluable resource within the "Pet Hospital" category for local pet owners. This facility is specifically designed to address immediate and pressing health concerns for beloved companion animals, offering a crucial alternative or supplement to traditional veterinary clinics for non-life-threatening but urgent conditions. Their contact number is (774) 608-7016, and they can also be reached via mobile at +1 774-608-7016, providing readily accessible communication for pet emergencies.

Regarding the environment, while specific architectural or interior design details are not provided, the nature of an urgent care center implies a setting optimized for efficiency, comfort, and clinical functionality. One can infer a clean, well-organized, and calming atmosphere designed to reduce stress for both pets and their owners during what can often be anxious times. Given their role in urgent care, the facility would be equipped with essential diagnostic tools and treatment areas to swiftly assess and manage various conditions. The ability to "get my dog in quickly" for an appointment, as mentioned in a review, suggests an efficient intake process and potentially a well-managed waiting area that prioritizes prompt attention. The focus on immediate needs means the environment is geared towards rapid assessment and stabilization, likely featuring comfortable examination rooms and areas for administering treatments, all while maintaining a sterile and professional standard. The overall ambiance, though not explicitly described, is consistently conveyed through client testimonials as one of kindness and compassion, suggesting that the staff's demeanor significantly contributes to the perceived comfort of the environment.

The services provided by the Veterinary Urgent Care Center - Plymouth are precisely tailored for urgent, non-emergency situations that require prompt veterinary attention but may not warrant a full emergency hospital visit. This includes a wide range of acute conditions that arise suddenly and need quick diagnosis and treatment. For example, a customer review highlights a case of a "ruptured anal gland," a condition that, while not immediately life-threatening, causes significant discomfort and requires timely medical intervention. This demonstrates their capability to handle common urgent issues effectively. Another review mentions a "very sick" pet, Louie, who received excellent care, indicating their ability to manage illnesses that suddenly worsen or manifest. These services likely encompass initial diagnostics such as blood work, urinalysis, and potentially basic imaging (X-rays) to identify underlying issues. They would also offer pain management, wound care, treatment for acute infections, and stabilization for pets experiencing sudden illness. Crucially, they serve as a bridge between routine veterinary care and critical 24-hour emergency hospitals, ensuring pets receive necessary attention without potentially overwhelming emergency rooms or waiting for a regular vet appointment. While the information doesn't detail all specific procedures, the focus on "urgent care" implies a scope of services designed to address a variety of sudden onset conditions that require immediate, but not necessarily intensive, medical attention.

Several key features distinguish the Veterinary Urgent Care Center - Plymouth and contribute to its high recommendations. Foremost among these is their commitment to compassionate and kind care. Customers consistently praise the "kind and caring" staff and veterinarians. One review explicitly states, "The vet and staff were kind compassionate and eased our minds that he will be ok." This empathetic approach is particularly vital in urgent care settings where pet owners are often worried or distressed. Another highly valued feature is their patient-centric and transparent approach to treatment. A reviewer noted, "They didn't try to do all these unnecessary tests as other vet hospitals we have experienced in the past do. This place was about Louie and us not money." This indicates a conscious effort to provide necessary and effective care without pushing for excessive or financially burdensome diagnostics, a refreshing change for many pet owners. This focus on ethical practice builds significant trust. Furthermore, their ability to offer appointments quickly for urgent conditions is a significant advantage, allowing pet owners to address issues promptly and alleviate their pet's discomfort. The "wonderful Veterinarian" and the entire staff receive high praise, highlighting the quality of the professional team and their dedication to animal welfare. The center's role as a specialized urgent care facility is itself a feature, providing a dedicated service for a specific range of needs, ensuring focused expertise for conditions that require immediate, non-emergency attention.

While explicit promotional offers or sales are not provided, the overwhelming positive customer feedback serves as the most potent form of promotion for the Veterinary Urgent Care Center - Plymouth. The testimonials speak volumes about the quality of care and the positive experiences clients have had. Phrases like "So happy to have found this facility when in need" and "I would highly recommend them" act as powerful endorsements, encouraging other local pet owners to consider this center. The emphasis on "kind compassionate" care, coupled with their integrity regarding "unnecessary tests," naturally promotes a sense of trust and reliability. For local users, the convenience of a dedicated urgent care center means knowing there's a reliable place to turn when their pet suddenly falls ill or sustains a minor injury outside of regular vet hours, but before a full-blown emergency. This specialized niche inherently attracts pet owners looking for efficient, empathetic, and cost-conscious immediate care. Any promotional messaging from the center would likely highlight these core strengths: prompt service for urgent but not critical conditions, a compassionate and skilled team, and a commitment to patient-focused, ethical veterinary practice. Their readily available phone and mobile numbers also contribute to their accessibility, making it easier for pet owners in distress to reach out for help.

Our Louie was very sick. We took him to Plymouth vet urgent care. We couldn't be more pleased with the care he received. The vet and staff were kind compassionate and eased our minds that he will be ok . He HAS a road but he will be fine. They didn't try to do all these unnecessary tests as other vet hospitals we have experienced in the past do. This place was about Louie and us not money. I would highly recommend them. Thank you 馃槉

Loved the team at the Urgent Care Centre in Plymouth. Our little mini goldendoodle had a nasty reaction to a tick bite. A quick call to Urgent Care in Plymouth and Cricket was seen by Dr. Colleen Barrett who recommend an action plan for follow up testing on tick born diseases in about four weeks and a course of antibiotics. Today, our fur baby is bouncing back to her regular self thanks to the excellent care she received at Urgent Care Center in Plymouth. We recommend them for friendly thorough service, for cleanliness, and very reasonable wait time.

Brought my senior dog Mary Kate to see Dr. Brink. My dog has an UTI. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. They provided professional treatment and support for my sick dog. They provided excellent explanations of the different treatments and asked all the right questions. Highly recommended.
