Excellent service! My local vet recommended this fine establishment as my little old man Ronald had a broken tooth and has a bad heart. Dr. Flowers and Nurse Dan were exceptional and you can tell they care about what they do. The team took expert care of my best friend and they will do the same for yours. Remember these professionals are people with lives and trauma in their own world and they still show everyday to take care of us. Vets are an incredible part of our community, please give them grace and be kind! Thank you guys for helping Ronald!

This place is filled with incredibly kind and caring doctors who provide the pinnacle of Veterinary care. Not only do they have a wonderful general practice, but they have a team for 24/7 care if your pet should have an emergency. Not to mention, they provide feline and canine boarding which allows you to feel at ease while your pet is monitored and cared for by a team of physicians and staff. They also have an excellent doggy daycare program which allows for great socialization of your pet, while knowing that they will be carefully watched. Both of the in-house groomers are superior at their jobs and can handle even the toughest of clients, while giving them a wide array of grooming options. The VMC of IRC is definitely an all-inclusive place to check out for the care of your pets, and they truly care about the work they do. I highly recommend Dr. White as she was incredibly thorough, kind to my dog, and knowledgeable about what will help my pet feel their best.

We would like to thank this excellent staff for their extraordinary service that was provided when we lost our lab Anastasia. No other vet hospital that I know of would have had their staff send us a card that the staff personally commented and signed along with paw and nose prints. You have earned a loyal client and we will only bring our other lab there when needed. Thank You.

I will only say that we brought our dog into the clinic while he was in great distress. The staff was attentive, the veterinarian(s) took the time to communicate what they were doing, why they were doing it, and how that could help to address the problem and get him around the corner to better health. Regrettably, the old dog wasn’t as resilient as he used to be. They kept me informed and they didn’t set unrealistic expectations. After four days, we had to let Rosco go. It was the worst outcome, but I take comfort in the knowledge that we got the counsel and advice without bias in order to make that decision. I highly recommend the Veterinary Medical Center of Indian River County.

I had to bring in my sweet 14.5 year old Stevie Ray in the middle of the night after he had what appeared to be a seizure. I left him there for diagnostics and observation then had to go back in the afternoon as he was getting worse as he had some type of stroke. Stevie had never been there before but the way the night and day staff there at night there treated him, you would have thought he was a regular. They could not have been more compassionate as I made the most difficult decision to let him go to the bridge. The care and love he received was top-notch while he was alive, during his transition and afterwards when they gave me his ashes. How gently they treated me along with the card I received from them is so very special and will bring me comfort.
