From the moment you walk into this facility, the VEG team is on it. Various staff work together as a team to immediately triage your pet and get you checked in/vitals assessed all at once. I was simply stunned by the level of care, transparency and efficiency I experienced while at VEG the other night. I have been raving about this place to everyone I know. Their open and transparent concept and thorough approach to medical care is unmatched. I was so calm and reassured being at this facility. I could always be with my sick babe, and every single person tried to make our experience as positive as possible. Special thanks to Rachel at the front desk who thought to bring out a comfy pad for Emily. She heard me talking about arthritis in Emily's elbows as I was listing the medications she is on. Rachel sanitized a cushy mat, dried it off and then placed a fresh towel on top so that Emily wasn't just laying on the hard floor as her labs were being run. Also, Amanda at the front was super sweet and she was very detailed as she was training Rachel who had just recently switched to front of the house (but she already seemed like a pro). Christina and Dr. Allison could not have been more sweet and thorough with Emily's medical care. You can see how relaxed Emz is during her X-ray as Christina rubs her chest :-) I snapped that pic through the viewing window provided for us pet parents. You are invited to participate in all aspects of your dog's care. You can even sleep overnight with them if you need/want to. Even though it was a busy time of night during our visit, there was a sense of calm and quiet. All the dogs who were recovering in kennels were visible to everyone and were kept comfortable and attended to/checked on regularly. There was no anxious barking or sounds of distress. I was able to see other dogs being triaged and treated as well. The same level of attention and concern for pain management and well being of the dogs and their owners was consistent across the board. I am still in awe of VEG. Such an efficient operation, but also so detailed and thorough with small touches that matter. Deeply caring and skilled staff at all levels! THANK YOU VEG!

Thank you to the team at VEG for their care and compassion while treating my baby, Fergie. In the midst of a snow event, we made two trips in two days to VEG. Both times, we were greeted promptly with quick action to get her oxygen. The team helped keep her comfortable and helped me consider all options for her treatment. When it was time to let her go, they were so kind. I greatly appreciated being able to remain with her.

If I could give Dr Rachel and all the assisting texts at 5 plus a million I would thank you so much for all of the kindness and just I can't express the gratitude that I have for all of you that was there for Biscuit and I the night I had to bring him in and say goodbye. They are all so wonderful at this vet and I am so blessed for them. Not only were they so wonderful, they capped the price for me because I only had a certain amount of money and I know that I was having to go straight to the emergency room where my mother was that I care for. They can see how devastated I was and let me have as much time with him as I needed. And I didn't get to bring him home with me, they gave me a wonderful little paw print photo thing that I love thank you all again for all the kindness and just for taking good care of him it was an easy process I think. I couldn't have asked for anything better and I truly hope that they are blessed every day of their life . I miss Biscuit everyday and there will be no other like him.

Spent all afternoon with this extraordinary team. We had to make a very tough decision today and the team at VEG walked us through a very dark moment with so much care. From the time they arrived at our home (yes, two members from their team drove to our home to transport our 180lb Mastiff) to the time we left, they were there. Everyone treated us with care and patience. I’ll never forget them and I’d highly recommend this group to anyone need g emergency services for their pet.

We took our dog when he dislocated his hip on a day when everything was shut down due to snow and ice. This hospital exceeded every expectation we could have imagined! The level of care and concern for our pet and us, was amazing. We even brought along his brother who was traumatized and they welcomed him, too. After having been a patient of Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Sandy Springs, this experience was night and day! The staff kept us with our pet the entire time with the exception of x-ray and when they did the procedure. Next time you sadly find yourself in need of ER for your pet, THIS is your place!!!
