My cat was very ill so we took her here, Although doctor gave us options to try to save her we thought it was best for her to rest. Big thank you to the woman in the front desk & all the other lady doctors who attended us as soon as we entered the building on 3/27. It was late night around 9:30ish The way you reacted tells us you care deeply for our pets. We cant thank you enough. Also Shoutout to the person who payed for my cats euthanasia & cremation for us to receive her ashes, we are truly grateful. May my cat “WhitePaws” rest in peace ❤️

Mar 28, 2025 · Daniel floReview for Veterinary Emergency Group I cannot recommend Veterinary Emergency Group enough. During one of the hardest moments of my life, they provided care, comfort, and kindness beyond what I could have imagined. From the moment I walked in with my beloved Anabel, they made sure we were both comfortable. They had me sit on a cozy sofa, and within minutes, a nurse came to check Anabel’s weight and temperature. Shortly after, the doctor came to assess her and discuss my options. The private room they took us to was beautiful—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. There was a comfortable sofa with pillows, another seating area, and a peaceful atmosphere that made an unbearable moment just a little more bearable. The doctor walked me through everything with so much compassion, and when it became clear that Anabel was suffering, they assured me that I could take as much time as I needed with her. They gave me space, never rushing me, and let me be with Anabel through every step of the process. When I was ready, they placed the catheter and again told me to take my time. When I finally pressed the button to signal I was ready, the doctor returned and gently administered the euthanasia while I held Anabel in my arms, looking into her eyes, singing to her, and telling her how much I loved her. Even after, they let me stay with her for as long as I needed, allowing me to turn off the main light and sit in a peaceful dim glow with her. This experience, as heartbreaking as it was, was handled with so much care and dignity. I am forever grateful to Veterinary Emergency Group for the kindness and respect they showed both Anabel and me. If you ever find yourself in an emergency or facing an impossible decision, go here. They are truly amazing. Thank you, VEG, for making such a painful moment a little more bearable. I will never forget it.
Mar 11, 2025 · Krystal VazquezExcellent animal hospital! Great customer service experience. Professional and knowledgeable veterinarian doctors. Specifically, Dr. Gordon, who is professional, caring, and experienced. You can tell that he loves what he does. He treated my baby Amber with care. He tested her and prescribed her the necessary medication. The vet tech was great, too. He was very caring and treated my baby with love. He went above and beyond. The receptionist was also great. She was very helpful and explained everything from start to end when it came to billing and the overall process. I will definitely come back with my cats and dog. I had a wonderful experience today. I left knowing that I had received outstanding care. Thank you, Veterinary Emergency Group!
Mar 08, 2025 · Anielka EspinosaFirst time coming to this place. I had a scare with my dog and took him here. For people who are wondering what is the cost, the emergency visit is $235. The doctor who saw my dog was very lovely and explained what was going on. Front desk person was nice as-well and patient with me on the whole payment process. If you have financial difficulties, you can apply for a credit and see if you are approved. I definitely asked about that to the doctor. I know vet bills are very expensive, especially when it’s out of the blue and you are a first time owner. The place was quiet that night and packed at all. My dog is a very anxious dog who does not like to be touched so they were nice to put a cone around his head so no bitting would happen. They get down on the floor to make your dog comfortable so I appreciate that.
Nov 13, 2024 · Susan GutierrezI can’t thank the team at this emergency vet enough. This was my first real pet emergency, and I was in full panic mode running out of the house with my dog. I was originally sent to a different location, but since the doctor on duty was in surgery, I ended up coming to the 2nd Ave location, and honestly, I’m so glad I did. The staff made all the difference on this visit. The girl at the front desk was so kind, patient, and understanding, which was exactly what I needed in that moment. The receptionist employee was very empathetic and helped me out so much. Codie, Dr. Kaela Toback, and Dr. Verna Serra were incredible too. You can just tell they truly care and are in this for the right reasons. They treated my dog with so much kindness and respect, and they also made sure I felt heard and reassured. I’m very grateful that this place was open when I needed it most. Having a team like this in such a stressful situation made all the difference. Thank you all so much for your kindhearted and above and beyond care for my pet. I’ll never forget how much you helped us!
