The Vet here administered a flea treatment to my cat and applied it below the shoulder blades where the cat could lick it. A Vet that was employed at another animal hospital that i talked to later once my cat was foaming at the mouth and suffering, said that this was amatuer work and it should have been applied at the base of the skull. Some compensation should definitely be in order.

The environment at the Veterinary Centre of Greenback is structured to support a full-service veterinary practice, accommodating both small and large animals. While detailed descriptions of its aesthetic appeal are not extensively available, the operational scope of the facility suggests a layout that includes examination rooms, a surgical suite, diagnostic areas, and potentially dedicated spaces for boarding and grooming. Being a full-service clinic, it is equipped with an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, which allows for immediate processing of tests and dispensing of medications, streamlining the diagnostic and treatment process. The center prides itself on being strongly committed to practicing progressive medicine and surgery, which implies a modern and updated facility with the necessary technological infrastructure to provide high-quality care. The facility’s ability to cater to horses, cattle, goats, and sheep, in addition to typical companion animals, further indicates a robust and versatile environment capable of handling various animal sizes and needs. This might include larger examination areas, specific holding pens, and equipment suitable for large animal veterinary procedures.
The services offered at the Veterinary Centre of Greenback are notably extensive, covering a wide range of animal types and medical needs. Their mission is to provide pets with the finest, most up-to-date individual healthcare. For small animals, this includes essential preventive care such as routine wellness exams and vaccinations, which are vital for maintaining long-term health and preventing common diseases. They also offer puppy and kitten plans, providing comprehensive care during the critical first year of a young pet's life. Beyond preventive measures, the center is equipped for a variety of advanced medical and surgical procedures, including soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery. Diagnostic capabilities are robust, with services like ultrasound, radiology, and an in-house laboratory to facilitate quick and accurate diagnoses. Dental care is also a key offering, crucial for overall pet health. Furthermore, they are prepared to handle emergencies, providing critical care when immediate intervention is needed. What truly distinguishes the Veterinary Centre of Greenback is its capacity to serve not only small animal companions but also large animals. This includes equine companions (horses) and even livestock such as cattle, goats, and sheep, which is a unique and valuable service in a growing area. In addition to medical services, the center also provides client convenience services like boarding and grooming, making it a truly comprehensive animal care destination.
The features of the Veterinary Centre of Greenback emphasize a commitment to progressive medicine, client communication, and a broad scope of practice. Their dedication to "practicing progressive medicine and surgery" indicates that they strive to utilize the latest advancements and techniques in veterinary science, aiming for optimal patient outcomes. A significant feature, as highlighted by their mission, is the stress on "communication with you, the client." This suggests an active effort to engage pet owners in their animal's healthcare journey, providing them with the necessary knowledge to support their pets' long and happy lives. The ability to cater to both small and large animals is a considerable advantage, positioning them as a versatile veterinary resource for a diverse range of animal owners. The inclusion of boarding and grooming services adds another layer of convenience for their clientele. While one customer review raised a concern about a specific flea treatment application, the same facility garnered a "six stars if I could" review for great care and attention to a kitten. This indicates varying individual experiences but also highlights the capacity for excellent, attentive care, especially for younger animals. The presence of Dr. Geoffrey Riggin, DVM, further assures pet owners of professional veterinary expertise at the clinic. The availability of an in-house pharmacy and laboratory ensures efficiency in treatment and diagnosis, minimizing delays for urgent needs.
For promotional strategies, the Veterinary Centre of Greenback could effectively highlight its comprehensive, full-service approach, emphasizing its unique capability to care for both small pets and large animals like horses and livestock. Marketing campaigns could specifically target different animal owner demographics, showcasing their specialized services for each. For instance, a campaign focused on "Equine Health" or "Farm Animal Wellness" could attract owners of larger animals, while standard pet health campaigns could target dog and cat owners. Promoting their "puppy and kitten plans" could be a strong draw for new pet parents, offering a structured and supportive first-year care program. Emphasizing their commitment to "progressive medicine and surgery" would appeal to owners seeking advanced and modern veterinary treatments. The convenience of having an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, as well as boarding and grooming services, should be highlighted as benefits that streamline pet care. Addressing the importance of client communication and providing educational resources through their website, social media, or in-clinic materials would help manage client expectations and build trust. Testimonials from satisfied clients who have experienced positive outcomes, particularly those that praise the "great care and attention," could be prominently featured. Regular wellness package promotions, dental health awareness campaigns, or discounts for multi-pet households could also be effective in attracting and retaining clients in the Greenback area. Despite the isolated negative feedback, focusing on their broad service offerings, experienced staff, and commitment to comprehensive animal health would be key to their continued success and growth within the community.

Aug 07, 2024 · _Great care and attention for our little kitten. I will be making this the entire packs go to for veterinarian needs from here out. Would give 6 stars if I could.
Jul 04, 2024 · Causing EffectsUsed to work there many years ago. Not a place I would recommend to take my pets. Not all the interpersonal interaction you see on posts and reviews. More worried about saving a penny and charging high fees for services than the health of your pet. Very notorious for "estimating" a price and then charging an enormous amount if money. I know. I used to have to explain extra fees to clients. Also, the vet from personal experience is cheap. He reuses syringes and needles on your pets. He had a system of cleaning and reusing needles and syringes up to 3 times was the max and then he would dispose of them. If you don't believe me, ask. If they deny it, they lie.
Nov 11, 2017 · M DDr. Riggin is very kind and gentle and thorough with his checkups on all our dogs. and very knowledgeable! He always answers any questions or concerns we may have about any of our small dogs. We have 2 Chihuahuas, and a daschund. He handles our little animals with care. We also got a new cat, rockycat. he's coming to see Dr.Riggin soon for a second visit ! Prices are very fair and service is excellent. Thank you Dr. Riggin!! :) See you again soon.
Apr 08, 2022 · Amy Jo BuchananI am all for a vet that is absolutely in love with dogs and cats and all animals - you leave your dog to be kenneled there, they are NOT in cages. My dog loves to visit. The vets own dogs are there, often curled up in the waiting area to visit with you. This is not an "industrial" strength, city vet - it's a nice laid-back country doc. LIKE!
