Veterinary Care Group - Middle Village

Absolutely fantastic experience here, all of the staff are wonderful and kind. Dr. Ueda is awesome, takes her time with the examination and explaining everything-it’s so nice not feeling rushed. She’s also quite funny, and even gave our little guy a toast-shaped collar for when we administer eye drops. Adorable! Love this place and actually looking forward to going back.

I have been coming here for a few years. We have seen Dr. Ivanov and Dr. George. On Jan 3, 2025 my senior cat Akira was not doing well anymore. I decided to not let her suffer. Dr. Ivanon let me wait in the room while I waited for my daughters to come to say goodbye to Akira. The whole staff was so friendly and nice and constantly checking on us. I probably could have sat with her until they closed. I knew all the years I had with her that letting her go and be pain free was the best thing. When we were ready they made Akira so comfy in a bed. My daughters and I said goodbye. I can not thank everyone at Middle Village enough for letting us grieve. I miss my girl so much I thank you for taking care of her.

It was my first consultation going to Veterinary Care Group in Middle Village. Right away they took my pet in understanding his fearfulness with other dogs and people. Dr. Georges and her team were efficient, understanding, and professional. They explained all the options and prices in detail with me to make sure I fully understood the situation. They suggested several different options with me. Office contacted me right away regarding bloodwork and medication through both a phone call and text. All lab results and visit notes were emailed to me almost immediately. I truly appreciate the team and the office itself. Will definitely be coming back and a continuing patient for my pet.

Wow, I will most definitely be coming back! After struggling with my dog Melly’s allergies for so long—constant itching, redness, and hair loss—we kept going through the same cycle at other vets: a quick exam, a prescribed medication, and temporary relief, only for the symptoms to return. It was so frustrating and disheartening. But Dr. Ueda changed everything. She took the time to carefully explain what no other vet had before, helping me truly understand Melly’s condition and long-term options. She also provided helpful resources and articles so I could educate myself further, along with product recommendations tailored to Melly’s specific needs. Her kindness and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. She made sure Melly felt as comfortable as possible during the exam. The entire staff was also incredibly supportive, showering Melly with love and care. I’m beyond grateful for the patience and attention she gave us. If you’re looking for a vet who actually listens, educates, and truly cares, VCG is the place to go!

I want to thank the entire staff. They went well beyond job duties to provide comfort and condolences to our loved Foxy. From the minute you walk in, you can see the care they have for the family members that they are attending to. Compassion is what a lot of other vets lack. They treated my loved one as a family member. One staff member even cried with us. Foxy was a special one because she overcame many of life's obstacles before her time was called. They even sent a card with entire staff signing with messages. Give this place a try. The staff will not disappoint. The doctors are amazing, and just as a side benefit, prices are acceptable. Dr. Satomi is a great veterinarian who took excellent care of my dog Bella. She is very kind, experienced and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and skilled vet.
