Veterinary Care Group - Astoria

One of the best vet that I can trust and be assured of their information and help. Bring all three of my pets here pancho Benji roxy and after getting seen here if they have a problem is solved so fast. They informative caring and so trusting. Is neat and very clean they sanitize the room where you get seen before you go in too. We were here recently with our pet Roxy she has really bad cough and they worked their magic on her by next day we saw so much improvement on her. You can definitely trust your pet being well taken care of in the hands of any vet in this spot.

At first this was a nice experience. However, I feel very “hustled” regarding my last experience. One doctor wanted me to agree to X-rays, before assessing my baby. In addition to paying for another visit after 24hours. The manager stepped in to handle that. Then I received medication that didn’t agree with her stomach, the next day I reported the medication and was charged again for another medication. On top of them consistently pushing to conduct the most expensive test. Which puts a mom in a vulnerable position, hoping she’s making the right decision. I feel I’m paying for a lot of “trial and error” forcing me to agree to $500 X rays. This was a convenient location. Ultimately, I will resume exams at an alternative clinic and end my relationship with Vet Care Group Astoria. The money isn’t the issue, it’s the lack of empathy and genuine concern. Thanks.

I don't know where to start with how exceptional my visit was. The waiting room was clean and the front desk was very welcoming. All of the staff was kind and they took care of my doggo's issue quickly. My dog loved all of the treats he got, and they also gave him a toy at the end of the visit! They all showed my dog lots of love and tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible. A couple days later, they texted to check up in my dog and see how he was doing, which I really appreciated and thought was kind.

I cannot say enough great things about Veterinary Care Group-Astoria! The staff here is absolutely awesome—so friendly, compassionate, and professional. The doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to thoroughly explain everything, making sure I always feel confident in the care my pets are receiving. Every time I bring my furry family members here, I know they’re in the best hands possible. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention they provide. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and exceptional vet clinic!

Dr. Silverman and his team are amazing, Compassionate and sympathetic to all of your furrbabies needs. I have been going there for a few years & have taken both my dogs & both my cats & will never go anywhere else or to anyone other than Dr. Silverman. Their prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend them.
