Welcome to Veterinary Acupuncture & Herbs
Welcome to a detailed introduction of Veterinary Acupuncture & Herbs, a distinctive Pet Hospital located at 234 Old Post Rd, North Attleborough, MA 02760, USA. This veterinary practice, reachable at (508) 223-5300 or via their mobile number +1 508-223-5300, offers a specialized approach to animal health, focusing on holistic veterinary medicine, including acupuncture and herbal remedies. This introduction aims to provide local users with a comprehensive understanding of their unique services, environment (as inferred from reviews), key features, and the overwhelmingly positive experiences shared by their clients, which serve as strong endorsements.
Categorized as a Pet Hospital, Veterinary Acupuncture & Herbs distinguishes itself by offering alternative and complementary therapies alongside conventional veterinary knowledge. Their primary focus on acupuncture and herbal remedies positions them as a specialized provider within the broader pet healthcare landscape. Acupuncture, an ancient Chinese medical technique, involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate healing and alleviate pain. In veterinary medicine, it is used to treat a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal problems, neurological disorders, and even some internal diseases. Herbal remedies utilize the medicinal properties of plants to address health imbalances and support overall wellness in animals. The integration of these holistic modalities suggests a philosophy of treating the whole animal, considering not just the symptoms but also the underlying causes of illness and promoting the body's natural healing abilities. While they are listed as a Pet Hospital, their service model likely differs from traditional hospitals that primarily focus on surgery, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical treatments. Potential clients should understand that their approach emphasizes these complementary therapies, often in conjunction with or as an alternative to conventional medicine.
The available customer reviews, while highly praising the care provided, do not offer specific details about the physical environment of Veterinary Acupuncture & Herbs. However, we can infer some aspects based on the nature of their services and the positive experiences described. A practice specializing in acupuncture and herbal remedies would likely have comfortable and calming consultation rooms where Dr. Pam Lumnah can assess patients and discuss treatment plans with owners. For acupuncture treatments, a quiet and relaxing space where animals can comfortably lie down or sit still would be essential. The practice might also have an area for storing and dispensing herbal remedies. Given the emphasis on personalized care and the time Dr. Pam takes with each animal, the environment is likely designed to be stress-free and conducive to healing. The repeated mention of Dr. Pam's calming demeanor further suggests an atmosphere that puts both pets and owners at ease. While we lack specific details about equipment or facilities for surgery or advanced diagnostics typically found in a conventional pet hospital, the focus here is clearly on providing holistic treatments within a supportive setting.
The services offered at Veterinary Acupuncture & Herbs, as clearly indicated by its name and the enthusiastic customer reviews, center around veterinary acupuncture and herbal remedies. Dr. Pam Lumnah is highlighted as the primary practitioner, combining her extensive knowledge in these areas with a compassionate approach to animal care. The reviews mention her taking the time to truly get to know each dog, patiently listening to owner concerns and carefully assessing their individual needs. This suggests a highly personalized service where treatment plans are tailored to the specific condition and temperament of the animal. The successful treatment of various issues over the years, leading to healthier and happier lives for the pets, underscores the effectiveness of her holistic approach. One particularly moving review describes how Dr. Pam kept a beagle with bladder cancer comfortable and pain-free for nine months, significantly improving the pet's quality of life. This indicates that her services extend to palliative care and pain management, utilizing acupuncture and possibly herbal remedies to achieve these outcomes. While the reviews do not detail the full range of conditions treated, they imply a broad application of these holistic modalities for various health challenges in pets.
Several key features distinguish Veterinary Acupuncture & Herbs, primarily revolving around the expertise and approach of Dr. Pam Lumnah. Her extensive knowledge of holistic veterinary medicine, herbal remedies, and acupuncture is a unique selling point. The consistent emphasis on her compassionate care and genuine concern for the well-being of every animal she treats stands out. Her ability to create a calming demeanor that puts both pets and owners at ease is a significant feature, especially for animals who may be anxious about veterinary visits. The holistic approach, focusing on overall health and well-being rather than just treating symptoms, is another key differentiator. The personalized care, with Dr. Pam taking the time to understand each animal's individual needs, fosters trust and confidence in her expertise. The positive outcomes reported by multiple pet owners over several years highlight the effectiveness of her treatments. The ability to provide comfort and pain relief for pets with serious illnesses, as demonstrated in the case of the beagle with cancer, showcases the potential of her holistic methods in managing chronic conditions and improving quality of life.

Dec 12, 2018 · DebraDr. Lumnah has treated several of my dogs with varying health issues. I love her approach, remedies, and help with nutrition advice. She also explains things so well and all my dogs always enjoyed visiting her! She is very thoughtful, caring and loves people and our fur kids!
Oct 17, 2021 · Andrea VI am so grateful that I found Dr Lumnah for my goldendoodle Luna. She has issues with allergies as well as stomach issues and esophagus spasms as a result. She’s a sweet pup but anxious. Regular medication did not help Luna and had its own complications. But Pamela treats her with herbal remedies and acupuncture and Luna responds so well. As an added bonus she is much calmer for days after sessions! Luna loves going to see Dr Pam and so do I. It’s so nice to feel heard and in sync with someone who treats your pet and someone who truly cares about you both! Don’t wait, bring your pet to Dr Lumnah! 🐶💕
