The worst experience we have ever had at Vetco. We have been coming here for years and always had a positive experience up until this time. The vet Karen, who we never had before thankfully, was awful. She was very short patience wise and seemed to already be on edge when it was our turn. My dog was scared because she was literally twisting his harness to try and hold him still, which in turn made him more scared. She was very forceful pulling him by his leg to get him next to her. She kept saying if he doesn't sit still i can't do it. My husband said, he does not like when you do that (twisting his harness & pulling him by his legs) but she continued. She was coaching us on getting him neutered and saying to us that was why he wouldn't stay still. We said that we have NEVER had any problems with him coming there or to any other vet for that matter of fact, he had just gone to our regular vet the week before for his cytopoint shot. She just kept talking about him needing to be fixed and refused to do the heartworm test so we left and I rescheduled for this week when a different vet is on. We have been coming here for YEARS with multiple dogs and this is the 1st time we had an issue. She was very unprofessional and should not be working with animals. She was also coaching the woman that was before us on getting her dog Spayed. Literally talking to her about it for 15 minutes and the poor woman had no interest in hearing what she had to say. Hopefully, Wednesday we will have a better experience when we go again for the heartworm test that I have already paid for

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Located at 287 Washington St No.1 & No.123, South Attleboro, MA 02703, USA, Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers a focused approach to routine veterinary care, primarily centered around vaccinations and preventative wellness for pets. As a specialized "Pet Hospital" in its category, Vetco aims to provide accessible and often more affordable options for pet owners looking to keep their beloved animals up-to-date on essential immunizations and basic health screenings. Their phone number is (508) 761-8900 or +1 508-761-8900.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic operates within a retail environment, typically found inside larger pet supply stores. This setup contributes to a more casual and often less intimidating atmosphere compared to a traditional full-service veterinary hospital. The clinic space itself is designed for efficiency, focusing on quick and streamlined appointments for vaccinations and other routine services. This can be beneficial for pet owners seeking a convenient and relatively quick visit for their animal's basic health needs. However, it's worth noting that the open nature of a retail environment means there may be other customers and their pets present. While typically well-managed, some pet owners have reported instances of other animals being off-leash, which could be a concern for pets that are easily stressed or reactive, particularly cats. The staff generally aims to maintain a calm and informative environment, helping to ease the process for both pets and their owners.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in preventative care, offering a range of services designed to keep pets healthy and protected. Their core offerings include a comprehensive array of vaccinations for both dogs and cats, covering common diseases such as rabies, distemper, parvovirus, bordetella, feline leukemia, and more. Beyond vaccinations, they typically provide other essential wellness services. These often include heartworm testing and prevention, a crucial service for dogs, especially in areas where mosquitoes are prevalent. They also commonly offer flea and tick prevention products. While specific offerings may vary by location and date, the general focus remains on routine preventative care. It's important to understand that Vetco Vaccination Clinic is not a full-service veterinary hospital and does not typically handle emergency care, complex diagnoses, surgical procedures, or extensive treatments for chronic illnesses. For those needs, pet owners would be directed to a traditional veterinary practice.
One of the primary features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is its emphasis on convenience and affordability. The clinic model is structured to make essential preventative care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners. Appointments are often walk-in friendly or easily scheduled, minimizing wait times for routine services. Many customers appreciate the efficiency of the visits, allowing them to get their pets vaccinated without the longer commitment often associated with a full veterinary appointment. The personnel are frequently described as calm, informative, and efficient, which contributes to a generally positive experience for many pet owners. They aim to provide clear information about the vaccines and preventative treatments being administered. However, as with any service, individual experiences can vary. Some customers have reported isolated instances where the approach of a specific veterinarian or technician may not align with their pet's temperament, leading to less comfortable interactions for their animals. It is always advisable for pet owners to communicate their pet's specific needs and anxieties to the staff.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic frequently runs promotions and offers competitive pricing on their vaccination packages and preventative medications, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious pet owners. They often highlight their ability to provide high-quality, essential care without the higher overhead costs of a traditional veterinary clinic. Customers often appreciate the transparency in pricing, knowing the cost of services upfront. While specific promotional details would need to be verified directly with the clinic, they often emphasize their role in making pet wellness accessible. For pet owners considering Vetco, it's beneficial to utilize their website or call ahead to inquire about specific services offered, current pricing, and any ongoing promotions. It’s also wise to clarify their policies regarding pets in the waiting area, especially if your animal has anxiety around other pets. While the aim is to provide efficient and effective care, it’s always recommended to ensure that the environment and approach are a good fit for your individual pet’s needs and personality to ensure a positive experience for both of you.

Apr 28, 2025 · Jessica FouxSo glad this place exists! We got our cats vaccinated here and it was so easy. The personnel were calm, informative and efficient. Unfortunately I need to take one star off because a woman had her French bulldog off leash in the store which was scary to our cats and made us wonder if the store allows this? Pretty concerning.
