Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

Trying to find a vet in Utah since moving here was difficult and a lot of them were very pricey, vetco was the cheapest and fastest booking appointment I could get for my cat. They helped me with my concerns and got my cat all spayed. They are very thorough and good at explaining when it comes to questions or concerns. Tallulah was in great hands!

This place is trash. First appointment was a pre surgery appointment before getting neutered even though he has just had that appointment with documentation at another vet. Did it anyways bc that’s policy and they need to see if he is healthy enough to undergo surgery. Quoted me 217-293$ for neuter. Get there and they say “oh actually we forgot to do certain tests during his pre appointment and now it will be more like 400$ AFTER they had already taken him back into the exam room. They say it’s because they don’t know if he’s healthy enough to undergo surgery, so what the heck did I have the first appointment for? I tell them I can’t afford that and to give him back, they go back and come out again and say “okay, I think we can do around 325$ instead” I ask them what they changed and if he will have all the tests he needs and they say yeah, everything the same, I just did some “magic” what kind of magic ?? You just magically decided not to rip me off.. still more expensive than you quoted too. Not to mention, first quote was already high for neutering a cat. RIP OFF DONT GO HERE.

They extracted all of my cats teeth without calling with updates. Then they proceeded to charge me $600 for a “Dental Cleaning”. Please tell me which teeth they charged us for cleaning when they removed every single one? This is just a money hungry corporation that does not care about your pet and just wants your money. When I dropped my cat off they didn’t even care to see what she already had already done during her last visit a few weeks prior and were wanting to charge me to do it all over again. I hate that I let a place like this handle my cat. Avoid this place and company at all costs there only goal is to upsell. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET. Update: I called about the Dental cleaning transaction and they said they would put me on a call back list…

Really low quality service, over priced, and scammy. Took my cat here and they said he couldn’t get the 3 year vaccines and needed to be sedated for care and wouldn’t see him. I left, took him to the humane society and they gave him all his 3 year vaccines day of, no issues. Don’t bother with this place

This clinic is outstanding! They always provide options for our two diabetic cat’s care. Dr. Goolsby is wonderful to work with as is Ashley. They give our cats exceptional care. And they are so accommodating when it comes to making appointments. I wouldn’t suggest going ANYWHERE ELSE!

This entire Vetco Clinic/Vetco Hospital is a whole headache and a half. Their computer system, which stores the vaccination records of your pets, do not interact with each other. It seems like the clinic and the hospital don’t interact at all either, regardless of providing vaccinations at both locations. Either way, our dog has come to both the clinic and the hospital for his shots, but getting the records of said shots? Has been impossible. Each time we call for his complete history, we are only sent half of it, and then are told “Nope! This is his complete history!” Only to go through the records emailed, and to find certificates and entire visits missing. When calling back, we are transferred to the hospital side of things, where we sit on hold over and over again while being bounced around to different departments that are either unable or unwilling to help. I am on my FOURTH phone call (all the while being transferred between the calls) just to get his freaking rabies certificate. This place is a scam and we will be reporting it to the better business bureau.
