DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PET’S LIFE! My dog had a severe allergic reaction RIGHT AFTER getting the rabies vaccine at this PetCo vet! The vet didn’t explain ANYTHING about what to watch for after the shot – just took our money and kicked us out. All previous vaccines went fine, but this time my poor dog turned bright red and swollen (especially around the eyes and mouth) on the way home! We called them in panic, but the vet had already LEFT. The staff said they’d call back tomorrow – no urgency at all. We didn’t even know it was a vaccine reaction and thought it might be a bug bite! Had to rush to an ER where REAL vets saved him. THE WORST PART? - They NEVER called back the next day like promised - The front desk acted **cold and rude** – no apology, just excuses - Still no apology or explanation until now What if we hadn’t gone to the ER? What if we didn’t figure out it was their vaccine? My dog could’ve DIED because of their unprofessional, irresponsible service. Save your pet – go to a REAL animal hospital, NOT this place!

This Vetco location is our favorite location. My dog Hulk is always so excited to go there. He had a cherry eye and entropion that needed a surgery and Dr. Robert Mac Guinness and his team did an amazing job, they took such good care of Hulk that when Hulk had his second surgery he didn't even look behind. Dr. Robert is always so nice and caring with Hulk. We love this place and our doctor. %100 recommend it.

I recently visited Vetco at Petco to update my dogs' shots, and the experience was excellent from start to finish! I opted for the Dog Shield package ($155), which provided essential vaccinations and tests, including the rabies vaccine, distemper & parvo 5-in-1, lepto vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dewormer, and a heartworm & tick-borne disease test—all for a consolidated price. It’s such a convenient and affordable way to ensure my pets stay healthy. The gentleman welcoming customers in the Vetco area truly made the experience memorable. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process seamless. His positive attitude set the tone for the whole visit, and I really appreciated his professionalism. Vetco's services are well-organized and transparent, with no exam fees and affordable pricing for vaccinations. It’s great to see a commitment to making pet care accessible without compromising quality. I’ll definitely be back for future visits. Highly recommend!

My puppy had allergies and we went to see the vet. Robert i think was his name was amazing with my puppy. He listened to all my concerns and took great care of my puppy. I have to go back in 2 weeks to see if the food prescribed helps. But I am looking forward to see the results. The vet doctor was just amazing and his assistant as well. They made us feel very comfortable and my puppy was so calm.

Took my precious one here 3 weeks ago to get microchipped and vaccinated. This Petco / Vetco is the original union square store from the other side of the park. I really like this new location as it’s very modern and organized. At the very entry of the Petco there are is a pet salon and pet food bar (real piff if you ask me). Vetco animal clinic is located on the first floor level. There is a nice seating area at the entry of the clinic. My baby and I arrived early , however they were able to accommodate our early arrival and got us seen by the doctor almost immediately. The examination rooms are very clean , which I really appreciated. Also all the doctors were very gentle , attentive, and patient with my baby. They gave him treats to keep him relaxed , as he was getting a big needle for his microchipping. Once leaving I was able to do so shopping for my hunny bunny and was able to fit his carrier in the carts they had. The store has EVERYTHING!!! and they fully stocked with most items. I highly highly recommend this store for all your pet needs.
