The people with the bad reviews about the staff clearly didn’t interact with the same people I did today. I brought my dog in, and every person there was so kind and understanding. The diagnosis ended up being bad news, but they handled my emotions really well and have worked with me to provide the best care within my budget. Great follow up as well. This clinic isn't even remotely close to me, but I will definitely be coming here regardless.

We brought our three cats in for shots and a wellness exam, and the entire staff on 09/21/24 was fabulous! They got us into the room quickly and offered some really helpful tips. The experience was smooth, and everyone was friendly and professional. Highly recommend their services

We moved to Highlands Ranch several years ago. Petco/Thrive was just across the street so we decided to try the Vet Clinic. We started off with the basic vaccine and wellness checks. My senior dog started to have some behavioral issues that were very disruptive during the night. I am not sure how many times my husband and I attempted to address the issue with one of the Vets. We were all struggling. She wasn’t able to get past her diagnosis of cognitive decline. Every time we addressed what was happening, she tried to sell us on a medication that costs $100.00 a month. I know my dog better than anyone and he had his wits. I disagreed. For the longest time we all suffered until his symptoms became worse. He also had a history of Vestibular attacks. I started doing research because we were desperate and needed to resolve or lessen his issues. I discovered that he was likely having seizures. I called and told her about what I thought and described newer symptoms. She finally started treating him. Since he was prescribed the anti-seizure medication he has been so peaceful. Oddly, the Vet did criticize me for using Google as a research platform. Due to all of our visits with him, the staff convinced us to sign up for their Vital Care program and they had also made the switch to Vetco Total Care. I lost a lot of faith in the clinic and Vets with the latter issue. My husband also had an issue with the same Vet. We brought our dog in for a soft tissue injury and the Vet wanted X-rays and a specialist review. My husband declined and they did it anyway and we were charged. We disputed it and requested a refund. With this process, we were banned from coming back to the Highlands Ranch office. Since we were part of the program and you cannot cancel for a year, we went to another location. A couple of the Vets were really good. Eventually the Vet at Highlands Ranch left. One of the staff at Villa Italia asked my husband why we came all the way out there. He told them. They said that the specific Vet left and we should be able to go back. So last week I made an appointment for my senior dog for an eye issue. He had been having pus. Long story short, they didn’t want us there. The Vet looked at his eye and prescribed eye ointment. Later that same day I got down and looked at his eye and I saw a bump that the Vet didn’t mention. Anyway they banned us from all of their locations now and didn’t even say why. What we concluded is that we were not profitable for them. We asked for paper scripts. Let’s face it…most prescriptions can be purchased at regular pharmacies for way less than the Vet markup. I have never had an issue with this until their clinic. Also, their clinic in our opinion was good for the basics…blood test, vaccines, and wellness checks but given their lack of connection and transparency with cost we never trusted them to complete any of the major procedures. We got sucked into the game with the coverage. I am looking forward to real connected care again. It has been too long. Having now read the other reviews, I know we are not the only ones who have had these experiences with them…the abuse of the animals review by the former employee is appalling.

I feel like they only wanted my money…my dog is perfectly fine and just needs some anxiety meds. Nothing crazy, but they think I need to take him to a behaviorist? That is crazy expensive and our pup is the sweetest boy we know. I was told he needs blood work for $140 which was to determine if he was okay for the meds. Everything checked out fine with his blood work, so I asked where can I get his prescription filled and the lady said that the Dr wants him to try the behavioral person first…so if I try to do that and it works and he doesn’t need meds then I paid an unnecessary $140 for blood work FOR THE MEDS. I’ll take my business elsewhere .i want to be in contact to whom ever that can handle this situation and get my money back
