This entire Vetco Clinic/Vetco Hospital is a whole headache and a half. Their computer system, which stores the vaccination records of your pets, do not interact with each other. It seems like the clinic and the hospital don’t interact at all either, regardless of providing vaccinations at both locations. Either way, our dog has come to both the clinic and the hospital for his shots, but getting the records of said shots? Has been impossible. Each time we call for his complete history, we are only sent half of it, and then are told “Nope! This is his complete history!” Only to go through the records emailed, and to find certificates and entire visits missing. When calling back, we are transferred to the hospital side of things, where we sit on hold over and over again while being bounced around to different departments that are either unable or unwilling to help. I am on my FOURTH phone call (all the while being transferred between the calls) just to get his freaking rabies certificate. I have been told on two separate phone calls during working hours that all supervisors and a whole department is ‘out of the office’ or ‘in meetings’. Requesting call backs and follow up phone calls has been utter waste of time and the attitude that I just got from a customer service representative is absolutely grounds for a job dismissal. Interrupting and talking over a customer is not only disrespectful, it’s unacceptable. This place is a scam and we will be reporting it to the better business bureau.

Understanding the needs of pet owners in our community is paramount, and Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital positions itself as a local resource for a wide array of pet health requirements. This introduction will delve into various aspects of the hospital, drawing upon available information to offer an objective overview. While specific details about the hospital's environment, services, features, and promotional information may not be extensively available online, we can analyze the provided customer reviews to gain insights into the experiences of pet owners who have interacted with Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital.

Based on the limited information accessible on the internet, particularly the customer reviews, it's important for local users to be aware of the experiences shared by others. Several reviews highlight significant challenges related to the hospital's operational efficiency, specifically concerning record management and inter-departmental communication. One customer expressed frustration with the apparent lack of integration between the clinic and hospital systems, leading to difficulties in obtaining complete vaccination records for their dog who received shots at both locations. The customer detailed multiple phone calls, being transferred between departments, and receiving incomplete medical histories despite assurances of completeness. This experience was described as a "headache and a half," culminating in the customer's intention to report the facility to the Better Business Bureau due to unprofessional customer service, including being interrupted and talked over by a representative.

Another concerning review described a pet experiencing an allergic reaction to vaccinations administered at a different location under the same veterinary care group (Sugarhouse). The customer faced significant challenges when seeking follow-up care, discovering that the facility was closed for six days. The distress of having a pet with ongoing health issues and being told to essentially wait until the clinic reopened raises serious concerns about the accessibility of timely veterinary care in urgent situations.

These direct experiences from pet owners underscore the importance of thorough research and consideration when choosing a veterinary care provider. While Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital is categorized as a Pet Hospital offering services and potentially goods for sale, these reviews serve as critical feedback points for local users to consider. Aspects such as the efficiency of record-keeping, the responsiveness of customer service, and the availability of care during and after regular hours appear to be areas where some customers have faced difficulties.

Typically, a well-functioning Pet Hospital should offer a range of services to ensure the health and well-being of pets. These often include routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, diagnostic services (such as X-rays and laboratory tests), and potentially emergency care. The environment of a veterinary hospital plays a crucial role in the comfort and safety of both pets and their owners. A clean, well-organized, and welcoming atmosphere can contribute significantly to a positive experience. Features such as advanced medical equipment, specialized treatment areas, and a knowledgeable and compassionate staff are also important considerations.

Promotional information is often used by veterinary hospitals to attract new clients and inform existing ones about special offers or new services. However, based on the available information, there are no specific promotions mentioned for Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital. Instead, the focus is drawn to the reported challenges in service delivery and customer experience.

For local users seeking a Pet Hospital in the Midvale, UT area, it is advisable to consider a comprehensive approach to evaluating potential veterinary care providers. This may involve looking for additional reviews on various platforms, inquiring about specific services and procedures, and perhaps even visiting the facility to assess the environment firsthand. Understanding the hospital's policies on appointment scheduling, emergency care, communication protocols, and record management can help pet owners make informed decisions about their pet's healthcare needs.

While Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital is geographically located to serve the local community, the feedback from some customers suggests potential areas for improvement in their service delivery and operational efficiency. As a platform category, Pet Hospital implies a commitment to providing reliable and high-quality care for animals. The experiences shared in the reviews highlight the importance of these fundamental aspects of veterinary service.

In conclusion, Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital, located in Midvale, UT, is positioned within the Pet Hospital category. However, based on the available customer reviews, local users should be aware of reported issues concerning record management, customer service, and accessibility of care. While the hospital's intended services likely encompass a broad range of veterinary care, these reviews provide valuable, albeit critical, insights into the experiences of some pet owners. It is recommended that prospective clients conduct further research and consider these points when choosing a veterinary provider for their pets.

I had vaccinations for my cat done at the Sugarhouse location. She had an allergic reaction to them that night, it was bad but not fully life threatening. So I stayed up all night with her, to take her back in the next day. BUT SURPRISE THEY WERE CLOSED! And will Be closed for 6 days!!!! My pet is having issues with YOUR service, and I’m told - “oh well, we are closed, hope you don’t die till next week! “ NEVER- NEVER TRUST THEM!

I absolutely love this place. My 5mth old kitten caught an Upper Respiratory Infection from her mother and it took me that long to save up for her $35 visit (Best Check-up cost out there) and any medications I knew she was going to need. In that time it turned into an acute bacterial Infection ON TOP of the Respiratory Infection that caused minor corneal damage in one eye and required eye drops on top of her antibiotics x x! They were so understanding and patient. They totally worked with my very small budget, doing what was best for her in a range I could afford. I never felt disconnected or out of contact with my sweet girl despite the social distancing, because they talked to me every single step of they way. Please! If you have a low budget don't wait for higher cost care. Go here. They love your babies as much as you do. The Vet even gave me his card and said to call if she wasn't better by a certain time. Sorry. I'm just so happy I feel I'm gushing a bit. ☺️ She's just so much better, I mean just... Look at those beautiful eyes!!

I really like this vet. I'm always able to get in to see them, and I really love Dr. Angel! She's the perfect balance between caring about my dogs and not trying to sell me on unnecessary procedures or medicines. They are always happy to answer my questions, even when I feel like I'm bugging the snot out of the snot. My only small complaint is that calling them can be hit or miss. However, that is a separate system from the staff in the office. You can always make appointments online or go into the store, so I'm not super upset about it.

I took my Shiz Tsu, Leo, to Thrive Pet Care because he was having spells where he would fall over and start wailing. The Vet explained to me that it was a Heart issue and that I could take him to a specialist but because my little guy was 15 1/2 it was likely that it would not give him that much extra time. Things got worse very quickly and just a couple days later, I had to go back and have Leo euthanized. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the consideration I received at the Thrive Pet Healthcare in Midvale Utah. The staff and the Vet were so kind and understanding and help make Leo's last moments such a sweet memory for me. Now everytime I think about Leo, I remember how wonderful the care was at Thrive. If you ever have to say good bye to your pet, I highly recommend this wonderful facility.
