Ghost had a visit on December 24th.Everyone was kind to her even though she was being extra spicy! She did good with her first vaccine and slept the next day away.We will see everyone after the new year! Thank you again to everyone!

I have two German shepherd brothers who are somewhat skittish around strangers. Except at petco.their vets and techs always treated our boys with friendliness and scaring soft demeanor. They have been carrying for Rex and Rufus ever since they were 3 months old. They are now almost 5. I would not bring them to any other Vet.

The absolute best clinic we have brought our baby girl to. Kim (TECH) is an angel. Super informative, thoughtful and caring. Dr.Laxton was also an angel! She was extremely educated and truly cared for our baby. The front desk girls were super friendly and helpful. When looking for a veterinarian/office this is exactly what you would want for your babies. We are 100% coming back when need be so our puppy girl is taken care. Thank you all so much for your care!!!

I brought my 16 year old baby there for her final rest and they were fantastic with us. I had never been there but they were closer to my home than her regular vet for an appointment like this. My baby was at ease and the technicians and vet were so kind and accommodating. To lose my baby was hard enough. Having this level of care and support really helped me with the decision and the whole process. Thank you guys for taking care of us. Lady and I leave our love for anyone else going thru this process.

THIS IS A PSA: if you value your animals DO NOT TAKE THEM TO PETCO “Vetco/Thrive.” I loved Dr Gifford! This is literally the Walmart of veterinary care. My dog was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. That’s pressing on her trachea, which is eventually going to be fatal. She was given to medication’s one a heart medicine, and the other Hycodan, which is essentially Tylenol with codeine, cough syrup, she’s very tiny so she only gets a half an ML. I spoke with Dr. Cruz who originally diagnosed her and then had a 10 day follow up with Dr. Soto and the cough medicine was wearing off much earlier than every 12 hours. She increased it to every eight hours when I spoke to her on October 19. She asked me if I had enough medication and I told her no and she stated that she would give me more. Therefore, when I stopped a day or two later to pick up the prescription as they no longer carry scheduled narcotics at this location, so I’m not sure if they lost their license for some reason because they used to when Dr. Gifford was in practice there, apparently there was a different doctor named Dr. Rivera who refused to write the prescription of which I thought was already written by Dr. Cruz and I was just picking up the office manager. Alexis was very rude with no bedside manner and I am a medical professional as well, and I stated that this is for a dog that has a life ending illness, and she really didn’t care, I explained I don’t understand why I can’t just get the prescription that is necessary and it’s such a tiny amount. It doesn’t make any sense and she stated it’s because Dr. Rivera has never seen my pet. I said well she seen by this practice and her chart is here, so clearly you know what she’s on Again she refused so I called thrives main line and made a complaint. Which resulted in me having to make another appointment with Dr. Cruz two days later just to get this medication I do not recommend this place for another reason as my larger dog had torn his meniscus and I took him there because online it says we accept walk-ins and they do not. I got turned away, even though all three of my dogs get seen there And was forced to go to a place I had to find myself. If your dogs are healthy and you just want shots, I can understand taking them there, but as far as anything else they are incapable. When she was diagnosed with the heart issue, they told me there are only three places in the entire state of Florida that have a cardiac ultrasound. Just buyer beware if you care about your fur babies, go private.
