My cat Julian and I had a fantastic experience at Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital. Dr. Gallagher and Vet Tech Julissa were amazing! They listened carefully to our concerns, gave Julian a thorough exam, and explained the treatment plan in detail. They helped us prioritize Julian's care and effectively diagnosed his issue. They were patient, kind, and treated Julian like their own. We're so grateful and Julian is already feeling better! They also worked with us to find cost-effective treatment options. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gallagher and Julissa are wonderful! My dogs Mylo and Bentley actually *enjoy* going to the vet now, which is incredible! They're so friendly and caring, and they treat my pups like family. So happy we found Vetco Total Care!

My experience was absolutely terrible. The staff is incompetent and their record-keeping is a mess. They didn't document appointments or procedures, and the doctor refused to refill my dog's medication without unnecessary tests, even though they had already been done (but not recorded). Management was unhelpful and even called me a liar. They wouldn't acknowledge my dog's anaphylactic reaction to a rabies vaccine they claimed he didn't receive (but I have the paperwork!). They also misdiagnosed and mistreated my older dog, leading to his death. It's all about the money here. Avoid this place at all costs!

I had a scheduled appointment, but when I arrived, their system was down. I rescheduled, but then had to reschedule again due to work. Because of Hurricane Milton, I had no power and couldn't confirm the appointment by phone. They canceled it anyway! I understand confirmations, but during a natural disaster, some empathy is needed. I'm taking my pregnant dog and her puppies elsewhere.

This is the best Petco I've been to! Dr. Rodriguez and the techs are fantastic! Everyone is so nice and helpful, and they give the best care to my and my daughter's dogs.

I recently brought my new puppy in for his first check-up, and the staff at Vetco Total Care were amazing. They were so gentle and patient with him, and they answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been coming to this VETCO for about a year now and my experience is always positive. The team is amazing. They answer all of my questions and if they can’t, they always check back with the vet who can. My dog recently got spayed here and that experience went well. They broke down all of the fees and gave a proper estimate based on my needs and wants. I was given a number to reach them in case of anything and I did use it. I sent pictures and they called the next morning first thing. I was able to come in to be seen and I needed antibiotics for my dog because she got a slight infection from licking her wound. After that she healed and they were really happy to see her at her actual post op check up. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and an awesome vet, Dr Rodriguez. Highly recommend!!

May 12th, 2025 visit: Awesome and exceptional customer service as usual, from everyone in the office except the Vet Lindsay Gallagher. Her unprofessionalism, rudeness, gross uninformed attitude, and obvious cluelessness to the situation was surreal. Her crude approach to implementing directions regarding the times (4x no answer, 2 vm)) the office was called to report Shaggy's response (vomiting and pain with limping for 48 hrs on the limb she gave the shots), demonstrated her lack of experience and outright ignorance. She also thought she had knowledge or a congenital GPS or ESP to guide her to the location Shaggy and I were, and the time and distance required to drive from that location to return to the office before the 5pm closing time. Her attitude, lack of compassion for my pet's health was noxious, and relief came when she decided to hang the phone up while I was still speaking to her. A clear display of disrespect and uncouthness. Lindsay Gallagher is never permitted to care for Shaggy in the future. Thanks to Yvette (the Manager) who was able to give obvious instructions, shows empathy and concerns, following up with Shaggy the next day, and ensuring he recovers from the after effect of poor care. Her expertise and professionalism profoundly illicit and renewed my confidence in Vetco, propelled continuation of care for Shaggy at Vetco, and reminded me of the long-term relationship fostered with Vetco prior to the repugnant, obnoxious encounter, unprofessionalism, and outright rudeness experienced with Gallagher.

I've taken my cat in to be treated for parasites after a positive test. After two separate medications and four total tests which I had to pay $68 per test I was told the last two tests were negative for parasites. This morning my cat had some kind of worm coming out of its rear end which was at least a foot in length. I collected the parasite and I wanted to take it in today so that someone knowledgeable at this location could tell me just exactly what this parasite is since she's tested negative the last two times but I was told that there was no technician on site today which is a Wednesday. I am extremely disappointed that I've spent as much money as I have and my cat still has parasites

They don't update their website with their hours to show they're not actually open on Wednesdays anymore so my time was wasted. I asked the petco employee if there was a way to drop the samples off and she said you can come back tomorrow. Great customer service, let me tell ya. My dog is still in pain so I have to find an emergency vet. And they don't have an after hours drop off for the urine and fecal samples they demand be dropped off within a certain time frame or they'll charge you a second time. Both a google search and a website search says they're supposed to be open.

#1 my dog was comfortable with the vet and vet assistant. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Took the time to explain what was needed. Kept in touch after the visit.
