A BILLION STARS for Dr. Skillman!! I have been to so many vets and this has been the BEST experience I've ever had. She is so compassionate and kind. She makes you feel like your pet is the only patient. She is warm and welcoming, like a long time friend. Very thorough and knowledgeable. All the staff are incredible and caring. My cat had to come back in 2 more times for rechecking (understand that vet medicine is sometimes a touch and go, best guess sometimes) and they didn't charge me another exam fee for either recheck. Which I appreciate SO MUCH. If you have an urgent need, consider bringing your pet here. All the staff is amazing and my boy, Jedi is so thankful for them! We appreciate you all for everything you do.

When my regular vet couldn't get me in, I took my very sick Tortoiseshell in to be looked at. Place was very clean, organized and great to deal with. They gave me all the options available to me and explained it perfectly. A day later she was feeling 100% better with an antibiotic shot and some fluids. Thank you!!

We brought our 12 week old puppy in last week because our regular vet was unable to see him for several days. The ER vet confirmed a severe ear infection in our puppy, but then also shared her concerns about his coloring and possible anemia. Because she went the extra mile in asking to run a blood test, we learned that our puppy had an 18% red blood cell count. She strongly encouraged us to go to Portland for a blood transfusion with a specialist as soon as possible because he had reached critical levels. After discussing our possible options, we made the very difficult decision to surrender (in place of euthanasia) our puppy to give him the best possible chance at life. The staff allowed us an incredible amount of time in the exam room to process our emotions, weigh our options, and say goodbye. They were NEVER judgmental or negative in their interactions with us when we made it clear we could not afford the stabilization treatments needed for him. We are absolutely devastated and missing our Teddy Bear, but are so grateful to the staff here for their genuine compassion and love for animals. This vet voicing her concerns saved us from bringing home a puppy who would have ultimately passed without us knowing why or how we could have helped him. If you are reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And please thank Teddy’s new mom for me, and give him tons of love and extra treats from all of us. ❤️

On November 19th, my husband and I brought our senior Golden Retriever Ruby in unexpectedly because she wasn't doing well. We knew we were coming to the end of the road with her but we just didn't expect it to be that day. When we brought her in, everyone was incredibly kind. They spoke to us with so much compassion and let us know what was going on the entire time. Every single person we spoke with that day was incredible. Thank you for making such a tough experience, an educated experience filled with love and compassion. You all are wonderful and I know there are many great things about your work but I also know there are really really hard things to. Thank you for dealing with the hard stuff so well. We appreciate you all and we'll never forget it.

The Vet was knowledgeable and caring and took extra time explaining the pros and cons of treatment options. Plus, went above and beyond to make Robbie more comfortable and less anxious about seeing the Doc. They sent a follow visit the next day. Kudos to the team.
