I cannot recommend Dr. Bercovitz and her team enough for the exceptional care they provide. My dog, Sophie, recently experienced an urgent eye issue that led my primary care vet to refer us to VCA Northwest. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff demonstrated remarkable compassion and professionalism. They quickly eased my worries and were able to see Sophie the same day without making us wait. Dr. Bercovitz took the time to thoroughly explain the condition using helpful illustrations and presented multiple treatment options. I never felt pressured to choose a specific course of action, and I appreciated the clarity with which they addressed my concerns. Adding to the positive experience, the team had a wonderful sense of humor which kept Sophie cooperative and happy with plenty of treats. Overall, VCA Northwest is a stellar team, and I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care they continue to provide.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! My dog had lost full use of his hind legs due to IVDD & there were no available neurologists in all of Oregon. Within 24 hours, VCA had gotten me in with Dr. Korff for not only an evaluation & diagnostics, but for surgery. 2 days post op, my little guy is standing!! Every person here from the surgeon, to the techs, to the receptionist is outstanding. I called so many times with follow up questions and they never made me feel stupid or annoying. The kindness we experienced here is something my dog & my family will always remember. Thank you!!

We brought our dog Josie because she had a sudden loss mobility in her back legs. Our whole experience was wonderful... The welcome staff and nursing/tech team was thoughtful, knowledgeable and helpful and the time we had to wait was minimal, which really surprised me for an ER. Our sweet girl was seen by two veterinarians - Dr. Michlanski and Dr. Paul, and both were supportive and very thorough. They went through all possibilities and procedures with us in detail and we felt that the care of our baby was important to them. The care and compassion is actually more impressive than some human doctors I've been to. I would highly recommend this VCA, and they are now my first choice for ER and specialty care in the future!

Do not take your dog here if you want compassionate care. They treat your dog like a number. My partner and I were so displeased with the treatment here we drove all the way to Bend to have our dog treated. The vet tech we dealt with was extremely cold, made us feel like bad dog moms and was overall pretty unpleasant to deal with. Dr. Dowling told us our dog is just another “doodle with cancer” and didn’t seem too hopeful at all. He also went on vacation which is no big deal but that would’ve put our dog two weeks behind treatment and he offered no alternatives. Extremely displeased with this place. Again, do not take your dog here if you want a fighting chance. They see your dog as dead once they come in. Weird I emailed them and no reply hahahahah figures.
