I wish I could give them zero stars šŸ˜” we had our initial appt and schedule our dog Marcy for a follow up on the 21st. We booked over the phone and was told multiple times that it would be for the 21st. 21st rolls along and we take time off of work to show up and bring Marcy in for a follow up and no appointment has been schedule??? So we settle for the 25th and take time off work AGAIN! Before we had left we confirmed Tuesday the 25th TWICE! We show up on the 25 and was told no appointment has been scheduled. This clinic is the absolute WORST. I’ve never encountered this before and we can’t move our dogs care to another clinic since she’s being start on a new treatment. Murrayhill needs to train their scheduling staff better and respect other people’s time. I’ve never been a ā€œcan I speak to your managerā€ type of person but this is insane. I’ve left the clinic manager a voicemail and will be waiting to hear back. To be treated like this after spending an insane amount is ridiculous. Please do better.

Welcome to VCA Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital

Welcome to VCA Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital, located at 14831 SW Teal Blvd in Beaverton, Oregon. As part of the VCA network, we are an animal hospital dedicated to providing veterinary care for your pets.

We offer a range of services to address the health needs of your animal companions. Our facility aims to provide a clean environment with separate, quiet areas for cats to minimize stress. We also offer amenities such as complimentary drinks and a pleasant aesthetic for pet owners.

Our services include consultations, examinations, and treatments for various pet health concerns. Our veterinary team focuses on diagnosing and explaining your pet's condition, as highlighted in a review mentioning a thorough explanation regarding a cat's overweight status.

However, it is important to note that some customer experiences indicate areas where VCA Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital could improve. One customer reported significant issues with appointment scheduling, experiencing two instances of arriving for a confirmed appointment only to find that it was not scheduled. This resulted in taking time off work on multiple occasions and expressed frustration with the clinic's scheduling practices and communication.

Another customer shared a mixed experience, noting the positive aspects of the clinic's environment and the veterinarian's thorough explanation of their cat's condition. However, they expressed disappointment with the follow-through regarding receiving a diet plan and perceived a lack of clear communication and prioritization of their request between the veterinary and technician staff. This resulted in a delay in receiving the promised information.

While VCA Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital offers a clean and comfortable environment with a focus on explaining pet health issues, it is advisable for pet owners to be diligent in confirming appointments and ensuring clear communication regarding follow-up care and information delivery. We recommend contacting us at (503) 579-3300 or +1 503-579-3300 to discuss your pet's needs and confirm all arrangements.

I recently visited to address my cat’s health. Clean place, quiet area for cats away from dogs, free drinks, and aesthetic. The vet mostly emphasized the seriousness of my cat’s overweight condition and seemed thorough in their explanation, the follow-through left me slightly disappointed. The vet informed me that a technician would provide flea medication, and that she would be the one to type up the diet plan. The technician came in, gave the medication, and asked if I wanted the diet plan emailed or printed. I opted for email, expecting to receive it promptly. However, four hours later, I still had not received it. When I called, I was told the vet would likely complete it after finishing with patients, despite the clinic closing at 6 PM. And this is if the vet remembers to do this as she had already passed the responsibility to the technician. Had I known an emailed plan would take this long, I would have requested a printed copy (which I believe I would have received during the visit before I would leave). The lack of clear communication and the apparent handoff of responsibility between staff gave the impression that no one prioritized my request. I hope they take steps to ensure better communication and follow-through in the future, especially when dealing with matters as important as a pet’s health.

Excellent place! We haven't needed a vet for our cat, but had an urgent matter we needed addressed. Unfortunately, my husband had our toddler, when he called to speak with them about a same day appointment, Sarah, who answered the phone, assured him this would not be an issue at all. They had a place he could play in and juices as well. Our veterinarian, Veronica, was very thorough and right to the point, giving us multiple options. But never made us feel like we pressured into anything or felt obligated to go through with certain services. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicole, her knowledge was beyond reassuring. She was very helpful and knew her stuff. We asked many questions and she explained things in a way we could understand. She also never made us feel like judged by not going through with some of the procedures. Overall, a fabulous experience!

It's taken me 2 years to write this review. My baby girl Kiki was put down here 2 years ago today. She was 15 years old, dealing with a lot of health issues. She was my everything and this vet clinic put so much care and attentiveness into making sure she and I were okay. They handled her passing so gently. While it was difficult, they made it as easy as it could be. I miss her so very much. This is a great clinic. I had moved and drove over an hour just to keep taking her here. I received a hand written note from a couple of the doctors along with a poem. It is exactly what I needed and their words were so supportive. Thank you Dr. Herman and Dr. Hardesty and the entire staff. I am so grateful

Sadly I had to put my 15 year old dog down last week on short notice. This team got us in as soon as they could, and made the whole process as easy as possible. I opted to get him cremated and got the paw prints. Within a week, I got a card with 3 different messages from the vets, his ink nose and paw prints, his ashes, and a clay paw. As hard as this time is, they made it easier by making everything super quick. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.
