Apr 09, 2025 · Caboose681VCA here in sandy is absolutely fantastic. the staff are so incredibly friendly, and very knowledgeable especially with nervous dogs. These last few appointments for my pups have honestly been so great. i’m so glad to have them as my care team for my babies.
Dec 18, 2024 · Emily ReeseI'm so happy I found this vet for my kitties, Maxine and Spartacus. Spartacus has had quite a few visits these last few months. The staff has been so wonderful getting us in as soon as possible, even with a walk-in one weekend. Dr. Kelly has been amazing caring for Spartacus and watching him through every stage of him being sick. She advocates for your pets health, and takes all of the proper steps before referring your animal to a specialist. I could not thank her enough! Spartacus will have a better quality of life now, all in thanks to her care and referral. Both cats will be seeing her until hopefully furever 😸. Thank you so much once again, Dr. Kelly and VCA team! You guys are the best!
Apr 05, 2025 · Krysta LeeSo I hate to do this but I am beyond upset and feel I have been taken advantage of at this location. I brought my dog in to get groomed, his shots and a wellness check. They attempted to groom him, and did not do anything but mess up his coat. They had him for over 8 hours(the first round). So they called me and said we couldn’t get him dry you will need to take him home and bring him back, we also think he has an ear infection. Which he had a wellness check that day also so I don’t know why it was missed. When I picked him up he was shedding everywhere even worst then before and they had shaved his belly without calling me and asking me! I asked them about it because I am not okay with that because husky/malamutes hair can grow back messed up if you shave it. And she casually said oh it’s just a 50/50 chance it can be ruined. Well that was a 50/50 chance I didn’t get to decide to take, they did it without consent. Well I took him back to be finished (shouldn’t have) because they had him for another 8 hours and he still was not finished. And not just his brushing. His teeth were not cleaned and his nails were not cut. They put medicine in his ear which I appreciated the vet. But I paid over $600! For a groom that was awful, two wellness visits when it should of been caught in the first one. I calmly and nicely addressed this with the front desk girl and she had the audacity to tell me if I didn’t like how they did things I could go down the street to another groomer. I am a very reasonable and understanding person, but the service from this was embarrassingly bad. They said bring him back for a third day to finish the groom and I’m sorry but he didn’t deserve to be trapped at a vet for 3 days straight because they couldn’t groom him right, when I have brought him in countless times to this location and others and have never ever had a problem. I tried asking just to be refunded the groom and one of the wellness visits and she laughed in my face. This location is awful. I would 10/10 recommend never going here. I was happy to work things out to be fair and pay for the ear infection, shot and wellness visit because they deserved that. But to keep my dog for 2 days and not have him groomed right and shave him, that’s not right. I understand people don’t pay there pet bills, but to burn a bridge with someone who always will is beyond me. I will be letting everyone know to never take there animals here.
