I am very grateful to the team of the VCA that they had so lovingly taken care of my Labrador dog Lola. The treatment was professional and very competent. Everyone made a great effort and put me at ease. Even though I am in great concern for Lola, I know she is in the best hands. Thank you very much for that. New: Lotti had her first visit to VCA Lancaster today. Lola had already loved this veterinary clinic so much. Lotti is now a fan, too. I love how friendly everyone is here, from the front desk to the vet tech to the vet tech. The financial plan makes everything much easier. I highly recommend the VCA, and so does Lotti. I had my annual visit today and again, very professional, very friendly, very competent. Lotti and I love the team and the place!

Great place to bring your pet. This place has someone working there with a seizure history that has been hit in the head multiple times. She was out for a concussion then had a seizure after it. She’s going to get seriously hurt and sue that place. I thought this company was a lot smarter than that.

My parents recently rescued a puppy and he was having some issues they were concerned about and nobody was able to get him in but VCA Lancaster was able to get him in the next day. Everyone was friendly and prices were affordable.

The actual vet was great. 5 stars. TLDR; their pharmacy refused to work with online pharmacies and is so incompetent they literally did not know that they had their own online pharmacy. I should not be the person who has to figure out how to solve their self-imposed problems for them. Long version: They didn't have my cat's insulin in stock, and told me to go to Walgreens. Walgreens looked at me like I had a second head and say "we don't do pet drugs, try Chewy". I order it from Chewy and they call the vet and ask for confirmation. The vet's pharmacy refuses to work with Chewy over the phone, I guess because they exist in the 18th century or something, and I have to mail a paper prescription to them. It doesn't arrive in time 'cause a snowstorm backs up snail mail across half the midwest, I run out of insulin, and no other vet can provide it to me without an appointment. I have the big-brain move to call VCA Lancaster back and ask if, since they don't have the medication in stock, maybe they can ORDER it. They can but it will take 3-4 days to arrive. My cat will *probably* live that long but I'd prefer to save that option for Plan B, so they helpfully spend an hour calling every Petco in a 50 mile radius to see if any of them have the insulin in stock. Nobody does, but they all can order it online. Meanwhile the vet's own phone-hold message says "go to the VCA website to refill your prescriptions today!" I do this and what do you know, VCA's *own online pharmacy* has this medication I need. I order it and they can overnight it to me. I call the vet back, they find the order and push the "approve" button and after two weeks of drama my insulin is on its way.
