VCA Findlay Animal Hospital's commitment to patient care is reflected in client feedback, though it presents a mixed picture. One positive review highlights the staff's polite and blunt communication, which is valued by some pet owners:
"I am very thankful for Ladybug's vet doctor and the staff. They have always been very polite and the doctor is always polite but blunt with us when it comes to our dogs care (in which I'm very thankful for). Thank you all for caring for my Ladybug." This feedback suggests that the clinic provides direct and honest assessments of a pet's condition, which can be crucial for effective treatment planning, and that this approach is appreciated by clients who prioritize clear communication.
However, another review points to areas where consistency and personal connection could be improved:
"We have been taking our corgi here for 2 years. Today was the final straw. First in two years, we have only had one vet tech that didn't have the personality of a bowling ball. We also get a different vet every visit. Our dogs name is Wicket. Today, we could hear the tech and vet outside the door say, it's cricket or wicket, whatever his name is, then laugh. If that's the type of caring they give, they should choose a new profession. Totally unprofessional and obviously just concerned with getting paid no real concern for their client." This feedback indicates that while the clinic may excel in medical capabilities, the consistency of personalized and empathetic service can vary. The experience of seeing a different vet each visit and perceived lack of attention to detail regarding a pet's name suggests that some clients may find the experience less personal than desired.
For potential clients, these reviews underscore that while VCA Findlay Animal Hospital offers a medically advanced and accredited facility, the client experience regarding personal connection and staff consistency might fluctuate. The "blunt but polite" communication style might appeal to some who prefer directness, while others might seek a more consistently warm and personalized approach. The hospital's affiliation with VCA often includes benefits like wellness plans and pet insurance information, aimed at making quality care more accessible and affordable for pet owners.
In conclusion, VCA Findlay Animal Hospital provides a robust and technologically advanced veterinary care experience in Findlay, OH. Its AAHA accreditation and Fear Free approach highlight a strong commitment to high medical standards and patient comfort. While individual experiences with staff interaction can vary, the comprehensive range of services and modern facilities make it a significant option for pet owners seeking thorough and advanced veterinary care.

Mar 11, 2025 · Don GoodwinMy wife, Laura, and I greatly appreciate the Doctors and Staff at VCA Findlay Animal Hospital! They took in and cared for 4, stray kittens. We were entrusted with the care of two of them. Their names are Boop & Magoo. If it were not for your care, our newest family members would likely not have survived. Boop & Magoo have acclimated to our home and were gently introduced to our three Boxers. While always under supervision, all 5 are getting along together. Our Boxers grew up with Helmet the Cat (our daughter's cat) and are comfortable around the kittens. Thank you again for allowing us to adopt them.
